We went here for the first time this morning and we'll definitely be back! My sister got the "vegan"esque omelette, which I... tried and loved... definitely not something I'd usually order but will in the future! Billy?s is fantastic for a quick, inexpensive brunch. They have an awesome menu both lunch and breakfast. The servers are very... polite and are great at getting your food out quick despite it being consistently busy. The only draw back is their lacklusterdrink menu with very few coffee options that certainly aren?t the best. Something that I feel is essential to a good breakfastplace. The food presentation is top notch however, and the place is always clean. 4/5 would be a 5/5 if they had a better coffeemenu. Read more
I would say that this was unexpectedly delicious, but there are times when you just know that the food at a restaurant is going... to be great. This was one of those times. I stopped in on Monday with my coworkers and had a late breakfast. After spendingseveral minutes trying to narrow down exactly what I wanted, because it all looked amazing, I settled on a "vegan"esqe omelet,and I was not disappointed! I went to Billy Downtown Diner for breakfast today and the food was AMAZING! The service was all so incredible, everyone was so... nice and polite with everything. I order the Snazzy Pancakes and the were awesome. It was banana with a chocolate chip pancakerapped around it and topped with whipped cream, strawberries, and chocolate chips. There was also powder sugar and chocolatesauce on top. As a drink I order simple black coffee, it was spectacular. I really suggest this diner for breakfast, lunch, orbruch! Read more
Absolutely phenomenal experience at Billy?s Diner. My boyfriend and I drove a half hour to try them out and were definitely not... disappointed. I got the ?Florentine? special and it was to die for. We also got the ?Cannoli Tower? to split; Simply decadentand a must try if you?re craving something sweet. Everything was delicious, service was great, we sat outside and dined on agorgeous day. Food was very low quality and basically inedible. I had the billy cristo; the French toast was mushy and bland, the eggs were... brown, and the bacon taste like it came from wawa. My friend got scrambled eggs with homefries that came out like mashedpotatoes. They charged $3.75 for apple juice and came out with a kids sized bottle of Mott?s. We both had about 3 bites of thefood and the server was never back to ask us how everything was. When she did come back and our food was barely touched she justgave us the check. After speaking to a manager about the quality of the food and the competence of the server, all they offeredwas an apology and 30% off the bill. Will not be returning or recommending this to anyone. No matter what you get here, the food will always be top notch. There are options for everyone, including gluten free,... vegetarian, and vegan. Service is always excellent! Lots of different coffee options, though even the fresh brewed black coffeeis superb! Read more
This is a great and inexpensive place for breakfast. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with maple syrup and it was fantastic, I... loved it. The service was good and the decor is very clean and simple. The only thing I would say is that the lemonade isn'treally lemonade. It's water with a lemon in it and they charge $4 dollars for it.
