Deceptive looking from the outside -- I would consider it a more refined & classy restaurant -- the atmospere is not stuffy &... you will feel right at home wearing shorts or jeans as well as a nice dress & sport coat. The pace of service was just right &enabled our group to sit & chat without feeling rushed. Our group opted for mainly seafood dishes, with 1 of us having thefilet mignon with mushrooms & onions on the side (looked fabulous). My experience was wonderful as we typically make plans for special occasions to frequent this restaurant. The quality of the... food is always there as well as friendly staff. Reservations are definitely a good idea as they are very busy. When we visited,we made reservations so that truly helped. We were seated right away and although it was quite busy (Saturday at 7:00PM) we hadno issues with the wait time for service. The quality of the fish is the reason to go here. Their whitefish flakes away and melts in your mouth. The crab cakes are crab,... not simply filler. Delicious. Even on a busy night the quality remains superb. Sushi lovers rejoice! Excellent sushi! AddKingfish to your regular rotation. Read more
High quality unassuming diverse restaurant I had heard Kingfish as an excellent restaurant, so I went in with high... expectations. Overall, they met my expectations. There?s plenty of parking with a lot adjunct to the building and one across12th street. The building and ambiance is nice. Seating was quick with reservations. Quite a few rooms comprised the restaurantbut only the main dining room was open. The main dining room was busy and there seemed to be only 3 servers. They did a greatjob of keeping up and there was little to no wait. The wine list was varied. The menu was seafood bias, but there was somethingfor everyone. I had the ahi tuna and peanut noodles. Peanut noodles they were. There may have been too much peanut, as itsflavor overpowered everything else. The coconut shrimp were great. A nice mid-level restaurant with a wide variety of foodprepared and presented well. We will return. Read more

Great service, beautiful decor. Martinis were mixed to perfection, delicious. The clams were very good. Calamari average, small... portion. Dragon roll was very good. Steak cook well nice sized. Portion for the seafood cioppino was skimpy for the $38 pricetag. 4 clams, 4 shrimp and a small lobster tail. I ordered the sesame encrusted tuna for my entree and asked for it to be cookedmedium and really browned on the outside. It came out raw. It was a nice piece of tuna, but way too raw. Dishes should becooked according to patrons taste not the chef. Not very impressed with food here. Plenty of parking. Handicap ramp for entry. Read more
