Picked up a pie with meatballs & it was excellent! The gentleman who answered the call on my order was friendly & courteous.... This is the way a classic pizzeria should be. Was my first time at Villa Maria's but definitely won't be my last. Well worthmaking the trip from East Meadow! Read more
The food at Villa Maria is absolutely DELICIOUS! I drive 40 minutes to pick up and another to drive back and it?s so worth it.... The entrees are the highest quality and they give healthy portions! My favorite Italian spot on Long Island, hands down! Read more
In past food has been excellent and was a go-to local spot for my family. We used to get the big catering orders for parties and... gatherings, so I wasn't just an every so often slice and pinwheel customer. I would actively promote villa to friends all thetime. Last night I ordered and first, they did not have any Sicilian slices. I understand business may be slow and moneyconservation a necessity these days, but that would be a staple you have at least one pie to cover customer base. Then, Iordered two pepperoni pinwheels and I got two items which I can only describe as pepperoni and cheese stuffed mini crescentrolls. It was actually pathetically comical. It was a good thing I ordered extra slices which ultimately were needed tosufficiently feed my five person family, due to lack of expected pinwheels. Family agreed that the pizza is nowhere near asgood as it used to be and overall food quality has suffered greatly. Thought it may be a one-off bad night but I've checkedother recent reviews and see similar experiences, which lend to overall declining nature of this once excellent pizzeria. I nolonger have trust in their food capabilities and sadly will be going elsewhere from now on. Read more
