I give it four stars because the service was not as great as it could have been. Our servers never asked how our food was or if... we needed anything. Our appetizers came out approximately 10 minutes apart. Not a big deal if you're sharing but we weren't. Italso made us wonder if they forgot our order. Sushi was fresh and tasted amazing. The presentation was beautiful. We boththought the sushi pieces could have been a bit bigger. Not huge but a little more of a "bite" would be nice. They were prettysmall. Restaurant is quaint and comfortable. Some lighting on the tables would add a lot of ambiance. We will be back again.Best sushi we've had on the area!! Thank you!! Read more
I don’t usually post but this place is one of the best sushi place in metro Boston area. The price, quality, and presentation... exceed expectation and the staffs and the sushi chef made sure we were satisfied! Awesome place! Best sushi I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a ton of it. I say that every time I leave Taku. Chef Jerry is an absolute master of... his craft and is a super friendly guy. He even makes his own tomago! Out of this world stuff. Hokkaido uni was like sea butter,phenomenal. Chef’s Sashimi plate included midai, otoro, hamachi, clam, and Striper. If you like sushi, you need to get to thisplace. Wow, what a fantastic fine dining experience for sushi! The atmosphere is beautiful and so clean, every dish was presented so... beautifully and artfully and was so delicious. Their vegetarian truffle maki is vegan and it was amazing I am so glad to be ableto have such delicious vegan sushi in the area! The head chef Jerry is so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable and reallypositively contributes to the experience. I will definitely be back! Read more
We had a great time here. It is a higher-end sushi bar. The chef is a pro---he has created some wonderful flavor and texture... combinations. Everything we tried was expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and truly delicious. We've been eating sushi ourwhole adult lives, but the chef really surprised and impressed us. The ingredients are super fresh, too. They offer green tea onthe house: It is seriously the best green tea I've ever had. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. It was very cozy.We will definitely be back. They are new and trying to get business going: I encourage you to give them a try, because this isthe type of restaurant you want in your neighborhood.
