Drove by Tartine in Beverly, MA and got some coffee + pastry. The Almond Pear Tart and service was good.
Lots of light, ample seating. Delicious tea -- it's a tea bag that comes with a ceramic pot of hot water (love that)... and they... also have slices of lemon! Chocolate croissant is nice and flaky. Their Greek yogurt/granola/fruit bowl really hit the spot. Thepresentation is beautiful. Yes, the place is pricey but the quality is solid. I'll be back for more breakfast items (the coffeecake is amazing) and I cannot wait to try their lunch/savory items. Read more
Adorable coffee shop, tasteful decor, relaxed ambiance, good coffee and pastries and the staff is very nice too. Lots of light... and high ceilings. A great find! The outdoor space is good too and they seem to turn into a wine bar in the evenings. Highlyrecommend. Read more
It?s so expensive ($9 for a latte), my brother who lives in LA said the coffee shops in Beverly Hills are cheaper. He also said... Tartine has the best quiche, croissants, and some of the best coffee he?s ever had in his life. He insisted we come heremultiple times during his visit because he loved it so much, and bring our mother here for her birthday. So it?s hella good. Ido love that it?s a no-tipping restaurant, so presumably they pay their staff well. They do seem a little stiff so I?m guessingthe owner is extremely strict. Read more
Chic Atmosphere. Straight out of France. You've come to the right place. Tipping is included so prices are intimidating but... worth it in my opinion for a special treat. Don't leave without trying the special tartlette and an iced coffee. Do yourself afavor and order to dine in. Read more
I don?t come here often because the menu items are a little on the expensive side? But whenever I do, I really enjoy it! The... food is consistently delicious and unique. I?m particularly fond of their soups? and the restaurant atmosphere is relaxing andbright, adding to the experience. Read more
