We come here for lunch often. The chicken breast is usually all I order that fits into my nutrition plan. It has amazing flavor... and texture. Always cooked to perfection and consistent every time I go. The food for the most part is 5 stars across the board.The only inconsistency is the service. We had to flag down our waitress just to get the order. They messed up on the orders withthe wrong side items. The food runner was amazing and fixed the problem quickly. They found a solution and we were all happy.The server never checked in to see how we liked our food. Actually, we never saw her the rest of the shift. Had to get someoneelse to get us our check. I hope we can get better service next time and with a little more consistency this is a 5 star review.???? Read more
Cantina Frida’s is a great place in the heart of Beverly Hills offering great service. Recommend the table side guacamole and... for drinks..a spicy margarita. Bernice was our server and was excellent in helping navigate the amazing choices. Enjoy! Read more
The food is delicious and it is in an awesome location. We order: ????Nachos de asada: delicious and full of meat ????Chips... and salsas: very flavorful ????Al pastor pork belly taco: The pork belly was perfectly cooked. It melts alone in your mouth andthe pastor condiments combined perfectly. Yolanda’s services was great. She cares about our “gluten free questions” andshe was always kind, smiling and being a great professional. We will come back! Read more
UPDATED May 2022: You can read my review below to know my main thoughts on the food/price, but I had to update my review to a 1... star after my awful experience last night. My birthday is on cinco de mayo, and I had booked a party of 12 on April 7th, nearlya month in advanced. I understand Cinco De Mayo is obviously a popular day for a Mexican restaurant, so I wasn't going to bedisappointed with a slight wait for our table, however we ended up leaving after waiting for 45 minutes with no end in sight.Original reservation was 7:15, we left at 8 PM. We explained to the multiple hosts up front that we were waiting to celebratemy birthday with a party of 12 and were continuously told "There's nothing we can do, people aren't getting up toleave.". After speaking with one of the hosts again he explained a table of 4 had not gotten up after being there since before5:30 PM, so it had been 2.5 hours at this point. (The table next to them was empty and would have been ours to accommodate thewhole party.) I asked him to kick them off but he refused to because a lady had ordered another glass of wine. He explained "Iwouldn't kick you out", and I told him "Then you're wrong because if I was taking up a table for 2.5 hours and there were peoplewaiting to use it you are doing a disservice to your next customers". I was happy this restaurant had opened despite not beingcrazy about the food, but I can't say that I will be coming back after they essentially ruined my birthday dinner plans by notsimply asking the people at the table to leave and comping them a drink at the bar if they wished to stay. It's not rocketscience to know that if you have a party of 12 waiting, you kick the table of 4 out that had been there for 2.5 hours. You guysended up choosing a glass of wine over a party of 12, a reservation you had in your system for nearly a month. Food is absolutely amazing! Try the different type of tacos they are delicious. Guacamole is made at the table to your... choice. Visited on a Saturday evening was able to make reservations online for 5 same day. Service was great prices are a littlehigh but it's worth it. Atmosphere is very upbeat and they have outdoor seating. Read more
Nothing especial about this place except the “location”. Foods were not tasty at all and the service and staff just... okay! Ordered chips & guacamole, shrimp ceviche, beef & shrimp tacos with Spanish rice one the side. Cocktails and food were good. Good for a date. There was a bar people were sitting at so it does have an active bar for just... getting drinks. Service was bad. It took forever for a waiter to come greet us. Took them forever to get us a table when it wasnot crowded and 9 pm at night. Took forever to get our drinks and food, took them forever to bring the check and they couldn’taccept the credit card because their machines were down. The music was great but good loud to hold a conversation. In terms ofservice this place was terrible. It took forever that we actually left at 11:30 pm. I would give this place another try. Theyhave an interesting brunch that costs around $75 a person for bottomless drinks and all you can eat buffet with livemusic. Good Happy Hour in Beverly Hills. They have Happy Hour and Late Happy Hour, both times gets pretty busy. A place with lovely... ambience to go during the week and end the long busy days with their nice HH food selection and drinks. Cheers! Read more
