For such a small establishment, you would think the service would be better. This was easily the worst service I’ve... experienced. The All You Can Eat wasn’t even worth it because it took over twenty+ minutes each times for someone to check inon us and another twenty to bring out the food. We waited over an hour for a slim piece of salmon with zero directions on how tocook it. The meat portions were small. Some flavor profiles were good but most were chewy. Often times we had to remind someoneto bring our food. A Royal sh*t show honestly. I was expecting so much more and better for the price, location, and stellarreviews but this was not it. At all. Very disappointed especially because their sauces are gluten free (I have a glutenintolerance). The highlight of the night was the music playing. Come to find out, one of the waitresses was personally choosingthe music. Maybe that explains why we rarely saw her. Asked for change and she never came back. Had to track her down andrequest for the money. That was strange. What a shame, a waste of a great night, and $200. Im quite upset. I won’t be back andcan’t recommend to anyone. Read more
This used to be years ago another Japanese food restaurant, which was clean and peaceful. I guess they changed owners besides... the name and the food. We didn't know it was Korean style cook your own BBQ. We were dressed for a nice Father's day dinner inBeverly Hills but that didn't happen so we just ordered salads and then they forgot the shrimp! We literally were walking infood particles on the floor and under the chairs. When I asked for a booth, we were told there weren't any, but I saw two sitempty the whole time we were there. I actually saw the bus boy cleaning the table next to us and swiping the food to the floor.I think the health inspectors should come around. Such a shame, it was a very nice place before. First time here with my boyfriend, he’s Japanese and this was our first date having Japanese BBQ, we got the All You Can Eat... option. Most recently the Latest photos are of the $25 lunch special! First few photos are the 2 for $55 Happy Hour Specialwhich is pictured. All of the food was delicious from; beef tongue, shrimp, to garlic chicken, yasai(veggies), pork rib, tos’mores and green tea ice ream! I’ve been on keto but enjoyed all the meats, yasai, and we enjoyed the green tea ice creamas well. We thought everything was so good. So 5 stars but when we did UberEats the food was terrible, our 3rd inside visit thefood was delicious! We’d definitely visit again! I didn’t take much pics but the desert! Others are videos! I love Gyu-Kaku and the food is always amazing. However, my experience in this location was horrible. Yesterday (10/01/2021), we... had reservation at 12:30pm, got a table right away since it was not busy yet. We ordered lunch specials (miso soup, salad, riceand 3 kind of meats). We got our soup at 1:10pm, after a while our salad and 6 kind of meats finally arrived. I had to turn onthe stove myself since our server (David) was MIA. We didn’t get some rice so we had to ask the food runner to get it (she wasvery nice). Our drinks were empty and we had to ask the host to call our server. Unfortunately, there was a bug inside my drinkand it was hard to find our server so we had to ask the host to get another one. Our server was finally back from MIA after wealmost finished our food. We wanted to get dessert but since he was nowhere to be found we decided to ask for our check. Hostand food runner gave us outstanding service but our server was terrible. Super tasty place to come for dinner with friends or dates. Portions are not always big for the cost, but you can walk away... happy depending on what you like. Their sauces are tasty and product fresh. Service is very helpful and informative. Nowifi. Bathrooms are clean and well kept. Parking can be challenging depending on the time of day you visit. Make reservationsin advance if you want to avoid lines during dinner rush! Highly recommend their duck and seasoned meats on the grill. Bigportions of hot sake for a good price! Read more
We been here several times and everytime is definitely a good one. The service is friendly, the food is amazing, fair prices,... wouldn't recommend their drinks, but definitely recommend dinner here. Read more
