I don’t like to leave bad reviews…. I used to go there and having a good time in the bar by myself…But last time we went... with a couple friends and we had such a bad experience since the time we crossed the door…. There is one guy that is not asever wearing formal suit… was so mean to us at first he tough we did not have a reservation and was having bad attitude withus… didn’t say hi and was so rude saying that there were not tables available even having a reservation….. after a coupleminutes was the host girl who really care and sitting us in an empty table…. Food is good, service was great.

Service was poor...slow to take order slower to deliver and slow to replenish drinks. Special of porterhouse steak was ordered... but then some 10 minutes later told it was no longer available. Order replacement items that came out later than rest of tableand one of those items was wrong. Spring risotto was delicious, orrechetti pasta with short rib was very good. Outdoor patiowas spacious. Absolutely remarkable food at Nerano in Beverly Hills last week. Appetizers included a crudo sampler with yellowtail, Alaskan... halibut and salmon. All of the different fish were fresh and delicious. My favorite of the three was the halibut, served withcilantro, avocado, pink peppercorn and lime juice. It was light and addictive. For starters I also had the Polpo alla Griglia,a grilled Spanish octopus with olive oil over mashed potatoes. This was one of the best octopus dishes I've ever had. Theoctopus was grilled to perfection with distinguished char marks and had a unique flavor. I would come back just for thisdish! For my entrée, the Gnudi al Tartufo Nero, a ricotta and spinach gnudi with mushrooms, toasted sage and Norcia blacktruffle. My server told me this dish has been on the menu since day one of the restaurant opening and I can see why! It wasphenomenal. Creamy, light, airy, delicate, and most of all delicious. Clearly handmade, this dish made my taste buds sing. Ialso had the evening special, Colorado lamb chops with tri-color cauliflower and wild Oregon mushrooms. The portion size of thelamb was generous and the seasoning well, however I would have preferred a bit more of a sear on the chops. The cauliflower wasabsolutely delicious and a great side. For dessert, I had the "Dessert of the Day," a traditional olive oil cake with sorbet.The cake was great and served with fresh fruit, a perfect ending to a delightful dinner. Read more

I wanted to love this place but i have to agree with prior reviews the chicken parmigano was so bad i had to send it back it was... so thin the chicken was dried out like jerky. The halibut was not bad however smaller than even spago. I had to ask for bread ihad to ask for cheese and since i didnt order booze it was hard to flag down anyone. I would never go here again . Maybe somedishes may be good but we have many choices in beverly. They suggested less chicken with a side of pasta then charged me 20 forthe side . But i was so done i didnt care . I review food for a living but i think people go here to drink so i wont be actuallyreviewing this place . Read more

The food at Nerano was extremely thoughtful, light yet flavorful, and fresh. My family started off with a pizza as an appetizer... and then continued with three pasta dishes that we ate family style, so we could try each dish. My personal favorite was theGnudi al Tartufo Nero, which was pillowy soft with the right texture. However, I am not entirely sure that the prices areentirely justified. The ambiance definitely plays a role with the prices here as it is extremely mellow and a perfect diningatmosphere with great music and decor. The service was also extremely attentive and helpful, yet it felt almost awkward attimes. Regardless, I still had a great dining experience here. Read more

Really nice little place in Beverly hills for a relaxing and private dinner. Located west of the Rodeo Drive area closer to the... Peninsula hotel. Wonderful service, the vongole was spot on and we had a squid ink spaghetti with uni that was one of the greatest pasta dishes... I've ever had in my life. Prices reflect quality and service so be aware, however it is absolutely well worth it. Read more
