Tonight we had a party of 22 for my sons 11th birthday. My wife had been in contact with the manager over a couple days.... Applebees does not offer ?reservations?. HOWEVER, this location did a fantastic job of accommodating our group, making adequateseating adjustments, and doing the best they could to take care of their customers. I must say, I don?t remember her name, butour waitress was phenomenal. I work in retail. I know how things are now a days, everyone is short staffed, everyone is runningon full tilt. I wish more people on the customer side of transactions realized this. She did a great job! She held composure inbetween a handful of kids that were a little riled up and happy to be out for dinner, and a big group of hungry adults lol.Someone give this chick a raise!! That?s the kind of employee Applebees wants to hold onto and move up the chain. All in all,I?m very pleased. I?ve been to this location many times. I haven?t had a bad experience and don?t expect one. Thank you to thewhole crew, servers, cooks, (extra special thanks to the chefs, they don?t get enough credit. Michael at the bar...great whiskey sour! The older gentleman prepping and seating tables...well organized, personable and... efficient. Double plus for recognizing us as repeats. Ordered takeout for pickup. Arrived 20 minutes after I called, the woman handling pickup was nice enough... at first. Waited 15... minutes for my food even though I called ahead and looking iut into the dining area it wasn't busy. After getting my food andcashing out with my gift card my order was roughly 12 or 13 and some change. Normally I don't see a reason to give a tip forpickup since I'm not getting the dining experience, I'm simply asking you to put the food the cooks box up for you into a bagand cash me out, I still will tip out of courtesy and kindness. However because of the wait, I felt rounding up to 16 was morethen enough a tip for that type of service, which is around 10% maybe more. As I was leaving the woman scoffed and said underher breath but loud enough for me to hear "2 dollars, gee thanks" very sarcastically. I like using the online ordering. The service was prompt and friendly. I think the prices are on par with everything else these... days. I got the double crunch shrimp dinner. The shrimp were tasty but felt like they needed another minute of cooking. Thefries were cold but the Cole Slaw was delicious. I will definitely try again, they have a pretty extensive menu. When we walked in behind another couple the hostes tried to sit me at their tabel with a child's menu. I said I wasn't with... them. Then my husband say 2. She walked us to table and we sat there for over 10 minutes with noobe to ask us for drinks bringus water or nothing. But the staff sure did talk amongst them selfs in a corner, so we got up and walked away. Don't ever judgea book by its cover! Read more
