Pleasantly surprised by this place. The food was hot and fresh. The flavors were as you would want, if you enjoy Thai food, as I... do. The menu is somewhat limited, but you're up in the mountains, sure they are limited in their ingredients. I will beenjoying their offerings again soon. Stay classy! Read more

Staff is really nice, despite the reviews we decided to risk it and we don't regret anything. The food tasted really good and... hit the spot. They also had clean tables and silverware. Really nice environment, it was very chill and nice looking place. Read more

I was a bit skeptical due to the reviews. Bit i always have a craving for Padthai. The first thing i noticed was the indian... music. But i didnt care. The restauraunt was empty on that thursday night at around 6 or 7pm. I was greated and served waterright away. My order of beef padthair with a side of rice and a Dr Pepper came out right away. The Dr pepper was a 2dollar icecold can that i could pour for myself. They even included a bendy straw. Boy oh boy, i have not had a bendy straw since i was akid, so i was excited! The padthai, as pictured below, did not look messy like other reviewers. It was picture perfect. Now,other reviewers claimed use of heavy tomato sauce. The padthai did not smell like it, but i could taste comcentrated padthaisauce. Though it gave it a slight tomato-y taste, it definetly wasnt tomato. The smell was a bit harsh. Did not smell bad, butthe smell actually stung my nose. I have never had that experience with any padthai. Despite the harsh smell, the taste was lotmore bland than the smell. It wasnt bad. I enjoyed the padthai. Especially paired with some white rice. This is a place toreturn to(for padthai). Oh, one more thing. I did notice little particles floating in my glass of water. Wasnt too sure whatthat was about. Read more

Was gonna put no star ..Ordered TomYum and Thai Basil beef ! The worst Thai place we have eaten . It’s fake Thai . They need... a real Thai chef , someone with skill in Thai cuisine ! I tasted tomato sauce in their Tom yum soup (not suppose to ) and themenu said Tom Yum hotpot meaning just water and tomato sauce lol! and the meat are extra $$!! no taste ! Of course we are notcoming back here even if we are just visitors .. Thai basil ? Where is the basil ? And poured with dark soy sauce into it ! , socalled steam rice horrible , poor quality . If if it’s your first time to eat Thai food You won’t be able to say a word .. Read more

At the top of the big bear village is this nice Thai food resturant with amazing pad see ew and pad Thai noodles. Only reason... this place does not get 5 stars is because the pineapple curry we received was a little bit watered down with lacking flavor andat the end of the meal I ordered a Thai tea to go and paid for it but instead was given a Thai coffee where the waiter said theyran out but was almost the same thing (I'm allergic to coffee tho..........) but I'll give them the benefit of a doubtconsidering it was near closing and last call. Good, clean restaurant. The food is very tasteful with decent proportions. We ordered a Tom Yum Kung pot, white steam rice and a... shrimp pad Thai to share. The soup was large, with lots of shrimp, mushrooms, tomatoes and flavor. The food wasn’t too spicyso we added extra chili. It was snowing that day so it hit the right spot. Price wise, it was a bit high, we paid close to $60for the dishes and the tea and coffee. I would definitely visit this place again when in town though. Read more

Thought we give it a try. We were very pleasantly surprised. The spring rolls, 4 to an order, were lightly crisp and packed... full with fresh veggies. They are shorter but much fatter than what we are used to. Two could be a while meal. Each meal wasenough for four senior meals. The royal pad Thai had an explosion of flavors. Nicely prepared but what a great taste! The ricewere small and went well with the Panang Curry. The best for last. The panang was the best we have eaten compared to the earliercouple of dozen restaurants where we have tried panang. It had a light flavor that blossomed in your mouth. Lots a good veggiesand chicken. They have outside dining which faced the boutique shops on this small road. We'll have to try that later. Read more
