We've been around all over the world, including celebrity chefs on boutique cruise lines. That restaurant surprised me while... passing by the off road town hunting for Michigan colors. The French Onion soup was great but Chicago style BC Steak was sofilled with aroma and so good, so soft, and so-french like souse covering it. I asked for the chef's name who was Andrew Hale. Great place to eat in big rapids if you're looking for a variety of options on the menu. The French onion soup was pretty good... and we enjoyed the bruchetta a lot. For entrees, I had the Thai curry with chicken. I asked for spicy and I would say on a scaleof 1-5 it was like a 2 for me. We also ordered the brisket penne pasta and it was good but not as much brisket as we wouldexpect for the price. My favorite part about eating here is being able to walk over, check out the wine options and bring itback to our table. Read more

I visited on a Sunday evening, and the service was very quick! The server Tim was fun and friendly. The food my boyfriend and I... ordered was super hot and yummy. And the creme brulee was mouthwatering! We had a great time here. :) Read more

Summer Sundays are quiet, it seems, in this small college town. There were few customers, but a trendy yet relaxed atmosphere.... The young waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. They had run out of lamb for the Mediterranean item I selected from theirbrunch menu, which seemed odd. Since we arrived right at opening time. But there were other selections that sparked my interest, like the goat cheese and apple warm sandwich I ordered. Excellent! And the coffee was perfect in a large cup. We'll visit again. Read more

Was staying overnight in Big Rapids and wanted something other than fast food or causal restaurant. Happen to find Blue Cow on... google and looked decent. We ordered the ribeye, champagne chicken, penne and the French onion soup. Soup hit the spot since itwas cold outside. The champagne chicken was ok, but felt too rich for us. Penne was cooked well and nice taste. The star of themeal was the ribeye. I?ve had steak across the world and also at very high end restaurants and the ribeye at Blue Cow could holdits own. Great flavour and very tender. Will definitely come back to Blue Cow! Read more
