Starbucks is ridiculous for only putting this tiny useless Starbucks in a COLLEGE TOWN this size. I'd buy a Starbucks myself and... put it in a strip mall...except Starbucks also doesn't sell franchises. Genius. Read more

I come to this Starbucks occasionally to work when I come through town because I work remotely / travel for work and I prefer... Starbucks coffee over other spots in Big Rapids + the wifi is better. However, the last three times I have come into thislocation (granted - it is on a college campus and it is summer) the staff are all sitting in the cafe area - often swearing,watching videos, ect, and they always seem annoyed when a customer comes in, and the last two times I've visited I have beenrushed to make my order while I am reading the menu / looking at food options. additionally, they don't event set down theirphones or HANG UP THEIR PHONES when a customer walks up! The last two visits I just ignored it because it's summer and Iunderstand they are slow so I went and sat in the student commons area but today is the last straw for me. I had some videoconference calls so I chose to sit in the more closed off cafe part which was a huge mistake - one of the staff was so rude,kept side eyeing me for sitting in the cafe area, and talked on her phone for nearly 2 hours on speaker - again she did nothangup the phone while making peoples drinks!! As someone who used to work as a Starbucks barista it leaves me a littleconcerned for how they are maintaining the store as well. This is such an unprofessionally run establishment and I felt veryunwelcome here and I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. Read more
The staff is always messing/goofing around every time I go, which makes getting drinks take much longer. I asked the register... girl what the difference between drinks were and she seemed quite irritated that I asked and she made me feel stupid for asking. Read more
Love Starbucks. But I wish they?d have their own shop and not be on a college campus. Or at least have another shop in this... town. Having their hours based off of school holidays is annoying. We can?t use our points here. Driving to GR just to use ourrewards is so crazy to me. Starbucks is so good it needs their own shop in this town. Read more
The baristas are always super friendly and helpful. This location is always really busy with students, but they always take the... second or two to make the interaction you have with them pleasant. They always seem happy and up beat, and it really helps thecoffee shop feel comfortable. Read more
We need a off campus location. Not corporate so you can't use codes or offers.
