China cafe is the best!!!! The owners are the kindest humans! Their food is incredible, especially for take home Chinese. They... always are so happy to greet you and the donuts are a nice touch in the morning. All the post that say ?they need to answertheir phone or there?s bad customer service,? need to get a grip. Visited Feb 2021- this review is limited to the coffee/donuts they serve in the morning and let me just say, you MUST go. This... is a little hidden gem in Big Sky. After drinking coffee maker coffee in our rental all week, ordering an iced americano reallyhit the spot. Great espresso, quick friendly service, and the donuts are delicious. Read more

Absolutely LOVED the food and service here! A friend and I were visiting Big Sky from out of town and loved how close China Cafe... was to where we were staying. It's right in the middle of town, easily accessible, and provides incredible service. It'stake-out only which is perfect for times like these and the sesame tofu was phenomenal! Highly recommend getting a few mealsfrom here! Read more

The food is delicious and the people are accommodating, very kind, and aware. My family and I are gluten free and they were... able to fix our order to fit our dietary restrictions. Would highly recommend; we love this place!! Read more

The food is really good here! They have hot tea, and after you finish, you get a fortune cookie. They give you forks, but if you... want to, you can ask for chopsticks too. The restaurant is small, however, the attention is really good, and is an enjoyableexperience. Read more

The title is literal - this is too small to be called a restaurant, but it is every bit a cafe. And that isn't a bad thing. ... There still is plenty of room between tables that you don't feel like you're being herded in like cattle. The service wasgreat; what I would expect from a family run cafe/restaurant. Tea please: My wife and I, for better or worse, base our Chineserestaurants first on the tea. When you are seated, do they bring that authentic herbal tea in the stainless steal kettle? Ifthey don't, something just feels amiss. China Cafe has this, thus we got off on the right foot. Food: The egg drop soup wasdone well, but the egg parts could have been bigger. For our entree we shared the General Tao Chicken because typically thereis enough for us to share. You can tell that the meat, and veggies are fresh. The taste was spot on and it's served with ahearty size bowl of white rice. Oh, and we have leftovers! The price: The price is what I would call reasonable. It's not tooexpensive, but it certainly isn't cheap Chinese. This is probably a combination of the cost to truck in food, and the price tostay open year round. Overall - good food and service at a fare price. Read more
