The atmosphere is inviting and warm. The service was subpar unfortunately. I ordered an Americano with oat milk with sweetener.... I received a tall black coffee, I had to take the order back and have it corrected. Hannah was the barista, she seemed extremelyoverwhelmed, thus being a little rude. City Brew on 18th and Grand poor job today!!! I ordered two drinks not that special but we asked for whipped cream our drinks... had none. 17th and Grand location ???? Employees should learn what the specials are and not treat their customers like they're a bother. I... received a text for $2 off on a special but none of the employees knew what the special was. King Ave location ????. Kingavenue location in Billings rocks. I call on the weekend to see if they have the orange cranberry scones and usually they'reout, I think those are the most popular. Anyway, they are always helpful, If they don't have them they always graciously offerto make them for me to pick up the next day. They're always super busy but always take time to talk for a second. This shop is cute and the coffee is enjoyable. There is always a line in the drive thru so people definitely like it! It's... missing something though. I'm not sure exactly what it is but for now it stays in my placeholder category of reliably decentcoffee but only going til I find the perfect place that totally nails it every time. Read more
Ordered a basic coffee, not espresso, and was a good medium roast. Shot of white chocolate, pleasant, not too much. Hot or cold... options offered with friendly service. Barista was very friendly, confident I will be back. Read more
I prefer City Brew for meetings with people because the seats are cushioned and the service is on point.
