I'd recommend that you give this place a try if the menu looks good to you and your willing to pay the prices. The wait staff... were great but I hadn't realized that the menu changes at 2 pm and brunch is not served anymore. I just drove into town and washoping for brunch. I tried the cauliflower wings (which I understand is a tough thing to make spectacular) the buffalo sauce andcheese were quite good but the cauliflower just made it a little watery tasting. My girlfriend pizza was a bit better butnothing crazy to me. Not necessarily their fault, and I'm sure if I had something on their brunch menu or something more like aburger or steak it would have been much better and so would have my rating been. I feel bad leaving it at this but I would loveto come back in the future and updating it accordingly. Ps. They also have quite a good selection beer and other alcoholicbeverages. Read more
Wow! Just wow! I?m blown away by their brunch. It was DELICIOUS! I wish I took a picture but we just ate it too fast! We got the... French toast and the scramble. Tucked in a shopping plaza right next to a casino... Exceptional place! Great service, very good food and a nice setting. The... short ribs were a little chewy but everything else we had was decadent! The peanut butter dessert was light, fluffy and just theright amount of sweetness. They have an outside setting as well! The food here is some of the best in town, and the ever changing menu keeps things fresh and new every time we visit! I have... been here several times for date night, or a double date with friends and have never been disappointed. If you're on the westend and want a great dining experience, this is the place to be. We were visiting Zimmerman trail and Googled "best restaurant near me" and decided to give this place a try after the great... reviews. We got there at 6.30pm and it was pretty empty but the patio filled up fast. Oh what to say - the food was amazing!Best I've had in a long time. We had the Buffalo short ribs, the daily special salad and pizza for the kids. Crack pie asdesert. All was delicious! Local is our go-to for a consistent fabulous lunch. Service is fast and always friendly. I was at Local for lunch when Bethany... Olson (previous review) was eating lunch with her family. Her husband threw a fit and went behind the service line because hewas tired of waiting and tried to grab his food off the line. The wife (Bethany, if that?s a real account) left the restaurantout of embarrassment, and the husband ended up apologizing to the server for his ridiculous and embarrassing behavior. Our first time to visit and it won't be our last! The food was fantastic! And the quantities was large! My wife and i shared the... wheat pancakes and eggs and we were both full! Thankfully we had a reservation which was a food thing for Sunday brunch. Thewaitress was also great! Read more
What a great experience! Everything we had was amazing (duck curry and postachio crusted lamb with some of the best mushroom... ragout I've ever had, and "crack pie" for dessert). The menu made it very difficult to choose, with lots of amazing options anda small but good selection of local tap beers. This isn't a huge place but they have a nice little patio in addition to theindoor seating. Although it's fine dining, we didn't feel out of place in our travel jeans and t-shirts. Our server was friendlyand helpful - even though we arrived less than an hour before close after a very long drive. And finally, parking was easy evenfor our small RV - in addition to their own small parking lot there is plenty of street parking. Would absolutely visit hereagain. Read more
