Came here for my mother in laws m, my mother's and my my own birthday. The service was amazing food was on point. Came in for my... grandpa's birthday and it was less then pleasant. We had a reservation for 6:30. Sat down by then. Waitresses Came to take ourorder. No one was ready to ordered as we never got menus to look at. Ordered our food. Salads came out in a timely manner soupscame out for half the table amd 30 minutes the other half got our soups. Waited over 2 hours for our food to even get broughtout. We went there for my surprise birthday. First off the staff was just phenomenal in helping my husband decorate the room. Our... server had the best attitude and was so fun! On top of that he was very attentive to each person in our party. The chef was veryfunny and had the entire party laughing. The food he prepared was delicious!! Great Japanese Steakhouse!! Our Chef was very good and was able to completely baffle my nieces relentlessly!!!! Very fresh on... the steak and chicken.... I ordered the scallops as well and no idea how fresh. It is Montana so I was not expecting fresh... Itall tasted great and was a hit with family!! Highly recommend! Read more

At first we thought about just leaving after being greeted and seated. The girls asked if we were dining or drinking and I said... dining. As she turned and smirked at the other gal. So right away we felt profiled. The place is a bit Dingy and It was a bit ofa wait before we got a drink, which I really didn't mind as this was our first time here, but the food turned out Good. Tiniest portions I've ever seen in any sushi restaurant! Two itty-bitty boxes of sushi for takeout were total cost of $55. Never... tried Umi restaurant before and I doubt I will come back.. Just not worth the price Read more

The chef was awesome and funny. The food was terrific. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable.

My last 4 visits have been horrendous. The family decided to come for my birthday anyway. Best. Decision. Ever. Eden was sweet... and attentive. David brought my teen to tears with that beautiful salmon (that kid is a foodie)! Not one thing was burnt (as ithas been the last many times we've eaten here). My food was perfect! Super tasty! Worth every penny! Thank you for stepping itback up! The only issue is the nightmare that is the bathrooms. Those do need more attention. Read more
