I was here for a work Halloween party, about 30 people. The back room was a great space. Food included bread, a cheese and fruit... board, delicious dip, pizza, and a few other choices. They were all good, and it was easy (not to mention cheaper) to have avegetarian selection. Though there was a bar, the party was small child friendly. I always thought Lost Dog was the first "cool" place in Binghamton... there's plenty of good stuff now, but Lost Dog still holds... up. My friends always rave about the Rigatoni a la Vodka, and it's true that it's really good, but everything I've tried hasbeen equally delicious. I'm not usually someone to go for salads at restaurants but oddly enough the salad dressings here reallystand out to me. Their menu isn't overly "adventurous" but it's not just standard bar food and it has character. The dessertsare interesting too! Also I love that they make French cream sodas, one of my favourite drinks. I think the style of thedecoration would be best described as funky, but it's not one of those places that has too much going on, and the vibe isgreat. They have a sidewalk patio too, but I often seem to have some sort of trouble with it. Sometimes it's not open when youexpect it to be on a nice day, and I feel like they give kind of a condescending response when we ask if we can sit outside. Onetime they sat us outside at one of the tables with no umbrellas (some of the picnic tables had umbrellas, some didn't), and weasked if we could move to an empty umbrella table because it was sunny, but they said we couldn't because only a certain sectionof the patio was open. Then we asked if we or they could move the umbrella to our table, also no. I know they have a system tofollow but I don't understand how it would have been that much trouble to move us to a table not very far away from the lastopen table. In this situation I also felt like the waiter acted exasperated with us when we tried to ask politely and justwanted to keep the sun off. Otherwise I've never had issues with the staff and they're mostly friendly while they're serving us,they just seem to get weird about the patio for some reason. When the patio is "closed", you can order takeout and eat it at oneof their tables, though. Read more

Loved this cafe. Fun atmosphere with a dog theme. Our bartender Emily was fantastic. Her recommendations were terrific. She... was personable, helpful and professional. The food was outstanding. My Mofo Chicken Sandwich was delicious and the SweetPotato Fries were the best that I ever tasted. My son's Rigatoni alla Vodka was also excellent. The bar was well stocked withnice choices of spirits, beer and wine. I will be a repeat customer every time I visit Binghamton! Read more

Loved the place. The food is really good and has good service as well. They do have lots of gluten free items on their menu.... Tried the chicken lemongrass fried dumplings, mofo fried chicken and mambo chocolate love. Overall a great place to go withFamily and friends! Read more

First off, shout-out to our waitress Elaine (that's the name on the receipt so I hope it's right)! She offered amazing service... and went above and beyond. I had walked in with a co-worker for lunch last week and sat down and Elaine was taking our drinkorders, and she noticed something in my hair. She professionally and quickly got it out of my hair for me and after she got itshe told me it was a spider!!! She didn't tell me until after she had gotten it so I wouldn't panic (and I definitely would haveso that was a smart call on her part). She then released it outside. I am so grateful to her, otherwise who knows how long itwould've been on me! As far as the food goes, it was so delicious! It makes me sad that I live in Virginia and was onlyvisiting because that means I can't come here more often, but next time I'm in town Lost Dog is a must-visit. I got the chickensandwich with Mac and cheese and my co-worker got a burger minus the bun. It was all fresh and flavorful! Great quality food ata reasonable price. Lost Dog is a winner. Read more
