Had a lovely evening and the food was very delicious. The chef, Elliot came out to chat with the table and very personable. ... There was a great selection of beers and wine and the dessert I had was so delicious, cheesecake. Read more

Last I visited Whole in the Wall a quaint vegan experience in the Southside neighborhood of Binghamton. I had a great time! with... wondeful savory food in a rustic simple atmosphere. There was music that day, and the staff was polite. All dishes are homemadeand each jas it's own unique flavor. I highly recommend trying them out for wholesome delight meals. I believe they offertakeout and delivery via doordash. Read more

Bought their basil pesto at wegmans and it was filled with woody stems from the basil plant. So much so I couldn’t even enjoy... it and had to spit out my dinner and throw the rest out. I tried to salvage the container but it was literally all full of woodystems. At $7.50 for a small container this was so disappointing and upsetting! Whole in the Wall needs to do better qualitycontrol when making this product ???? Read more

Lovely lunch for 2: mushroom soup, Mediterranean platter, garlic ball, pesto pasta, raspberry brownie sundae. Everything tasted... very good. Some things have changed presumably due to COVID: no more pesto dip & crackers, no free water, all food served onsingle use products, no menu of the day with the desserts listed. Nothing major, just different. Comments below about‘creepy’ staff seem unreasonable. We’ve always appreciated friendly chat with wait staff, the owner, musicians - it’spart of why we’ve gone here in the past. It’s about being more than just strangers engaging in a food/money swap. Made a reservation for 4 on a Saturday night at 6. Was glad to hear they could accommodate one extra guest last minute. Arrived... to see we were the only table eating in (table of 2 was finishing up). While the owner gave our table a lot of attention, wewere disappointed to find out that water was only served in bottles. The food was alright and we didn’t mind the wait forfreshly cooked. Got the bill to find out $3 per water bottle made our tab a bit unreasonable. Read more

Back in town to visit friends and family, we stopped here for lunch. It's been years since we've been here and it's amazing how... much it's still like it was when it opened. Yup, we knew the originators before the place opened, and have been coming heresince say one. Food is still excellent, the Creamy Mushroom soup is a must-have. Atmosphere and service is very relaxed andfamily-friendly. I could go on, but come find out for yourself. Good stuff! Read more
