Super delicious sandwiches! The credit card machine wasn't working so beware that might be an issue. The sandwiches were... amazing. We got a Ruben (you should definitely order this) and a meatball sub. The soup of the day was barley and prime rib tipsand it was a winner. Friday kids 6 and under eat free with a choice of 3 different sandwiches, chips and drink. The seating waspretty limited. Read more
Food was amazing. I ordered the steak and cheese on gluten free bread. Great flavor!! Also ordered Ruben that was the best she?s... had in a very long time. This place may not look like much but the food packs a punch! Absolutely delicious! The pastrami sandwich was huge! The Reuben... was awesome and I don?t even like corned beef! This place is amazing. I've been tracking the best Reubens and the Detroit area and this place is at the top! The Reuben melted... in your mouth and was such a great deal for the quality of the sandwich. The jumbolaia was great too. The owner and chef isawesome. He saw that my kids were still hungry and made them another sandwich just because he's that nice! I can tell you that Iwill be coming here every time I am in Birch run. Read more
I keep trying, but I just can't get excited about the food at Birch Run Deli. Friends of mine swear by it. They love the... place. I have been there four times now, and I just don't feel the same as they do. I stopped for soup today, and theso-called Old Fashioned Chicken Noodle Soup just wasn't that good. It appeared to be cream based, which was off-putting to me. It did not have chicken flavor. In fact, I did not think it had much flavor at all except for the taste of flour. The initialaroma was that of red peppers or pimientos but I did not detect them in the soup. Overall, the soup was edible, just not greator even good. I am adding it to the list of things that I won't eat there. Read more
