This place has that country hometown feel. The food and service was very good. Would definitely recommend.

Go to Lancaster every year & never really eat in the local restaurants, always the chain restaurants. So glad we decided to eat... here. Food was great. Had the Fried chicken & brisket combo. I really wanted to love this place and the food was pretty tasty but the extremely long wait and very loud room made it hard to... enjoy. We got there at 7:00 and were told there was an hour and a half wait, ok, figured were go through the shop and enjoy theoutdoors for a while and we finally got the text our table was ready, at 8:30, and when we were seated half of the tables wereempty so wondering why the long wait but maybe they were short staffed, no biggie and then we sat down and couldn't hear eachother talk. The space was so loud, but people weren't being raucous the space just needs some noise deadeners or soft materialsto absorb the sound. I literally couldn't talk to the person across the table. We ordered the fried chicken and the stacked meatsandwich which was so giant it had to be disassembled to eat but I'm not complaining, it was tasty and the fried corn nuggetswere hot and crispy, which made me happy. The barbecue brisket on my sandwich was delicious especially with a little extra BBQsauce. Our server was nice however sometimes hard to flag down and kept forgetting to bring things which I felt bad about sinceshe had to walk back and forth a few times. We stopped around 2pm. It was quiet. The Mama Colatta drink special was delicious. My husband had a bacon burger, fries and... chili. The chili was exceptional and he liked his burger. I had fried chicken, potato salad and cinnamon apples. As I expectedthe potato salad was amazing. My chicken was crispy and juicy in the middle but dry around the edges. But I would order itagain. Stopped by for the first time last night. We are frequently in the area and decided to give it a try. Definitely a restaurant... geared towards the local tourism. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. Be prepared to wait especially on the weekend.The BBQ quality was not good. Brisket was dry and old. Chicken was the same. Beer selection was good, mixed drinks were notgood. The atmosphere is decent but lacks theming. Prices were reasonable. This smoke house BBQ, is a cool place to come. The atmosphere is great for all ages and the food is good. The host and my server... were The wings are great but the reason for me giving a 3 is because my food wasn't hot. I had the wings which were good butwere warm. I also had the brisket and pulled pork which was also warm. Also the Brisket was cut the wrong way and I definitelygot the end portion of the brisket which was tough. This restaurant is a must go to place! The options are extensive but highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich and fries,... absolutely delicious. And the BBQ sauce is great too. A little tough for families with loud kids since the ceilings are high andeverything echoes but overall the food is perfect, service is good and the atmosphere is a combination of a farm and brewery allrolled into one, don't miss out on this Lancaster gem!
