I went here for lunch and you could tell the place is severely understaffed. Took 20 minutes for my waitress to even come... introduce herself. I was grabbing my stuff to walk out the door after an hour of waiting for food, and it came out right as Iwas about to leave. Food was okay, but overpriced. I arrived early on football Saturday to get food for my friends coming over to watch the games. Courtney was behind the bar.... Courtney is a great bartender. She checked on me constantly and not only having some brief conversations with me Courtney wasvery personable and attended to all the bar customers. She got us all in a nice conversation about everything from football tohow nice Alabama weather is this time of year, as I've lived in Florida for most of my adult life. I believe they are right. I had a good visit, however it wasn't perfect. Our server, Julia, did a great job. The food was slow coming out, which is fine... on a busy Friday night, and I was having dinner with a friend and we were catching up so no problem. When my chicken sandwicharrived it wasn't fully cooked so I sent it back. Usually when this happens the kitchen will rush up a replacement, but again itwas very slow coming out. So an update. Was told to go to their website and put all my info in. And that they would "make it right". Well did it that day.... Still haven't heard from them. It's been well over a month at least. Just weekly emails about their latest deals. So keep thisin mind. Again no response at all. Sat down order was taken. Then we sat there close to an hour no food. NEVER ORDER TO GO ON WEEKENDS!!! I came to place a to go order at maybe 11:30. and the cashier was just giggling and playing... with some customers that took 15 MIN to place an order while they had a line waiting!! By the time I got up I ordered and wanteda nojito to go but they denied it because the bar closed in 15 min and they wouldn't make it!!! It?s either really good or really bad. Waitress are either checking on you and taking good care of you or others never give you... a refill, mess your order up, but you can?t get it fixed because the next time you see them is when they bring you a check, whenthey ask you if you want a box because you haven?t touched your food you tell them the issue, and they don?t try to correct it.So you end up paying for it and have to go somewhere else to eat. Sorry I ate a wing before I took the picture ???? but I was starving and the wings were so so good!! Huge, very meaty and... perfectly cooked wings. I have to say it but I was surprised because the last several times I have visited BWWs I have beenextremely disappointed... I was served overcooked, skinny crack wings and overcharged for the experience... however this was NOTthe case at the Trussville BWW!!! Y'ALL ROCKED IT!!
