Been coming and enjoying this location for as long as they've been open; food has always been fresh, plentiful and very tasty.... Today looked to be no exception, until...I was told they were out of the feta cheese that customarily comes on the Mediterraneanbowl. I chose the goat cheese, and what an improvement! Then...I could see that the preparer was dumping way too much dressinginto the bowl, and sure enough...it was inedible! Took it back, and the same lady that built the bowl earlier acted so disgustedwith me; she tossed the whole bowl into a trash bin behind the serving line while she explained to me that "they always put 6lines of each dressing in each bowl." Understand...but if one squeezes the bottle to excess, then one's bowl will drown! Secondbowl around, I asked her to NOT place so much in, and she was still bothered by my request, and treated me like I was somemomma's child that had to live with the choice. Very rude; no apology, and no ownership for excellence or good service. AND, nowonder...she probably couldn't hear since she was wearing an earbud...wonder if she was enjoying her music, and I justinterrupted her? Good food, and it was corrected, but with a very rude and imposing attitude. Might not come back for alongwhile. I see in the reviews that I'm not the only one experiencing bad attitudes from behind the counter. Recommend with awarning not to expect much from the servers. Read more
I was actually excited about trying this place. I've gotten chopped salads from other businesses before and really enjoyed it. I... said I didn't wanted the blue cheese I came with she asked me what cheese I'd like in its place. So I picked another cheese andkept it moving. Sadly I didn't look at my receipt till I got to the office to eat it. Notice she charged for the cheese insteadof it being a substitute. Which irked me. I couldn't find any pieces of chicken and there was something in the salad that didnot taste good. I ended up throwing it away. Read more
Hands down the worst salad I?ve ever eaten in my life. I ordered the Mexican Caesar. She dumped everything in the bowl and with... a plastic spatula type tool started feverishly pounding the greens and all the ingredients together. I was shocked at firstbecause I couldn?t believe what I was witnessing. And she didn?t stop. She was in a trance and her arms reaching higher andhigher in the sky coming down like she was trying to break open rocks. When I saw she was not going to stop and I said ?Oh,that?s enough, thank you, anymore and it will be soup?. She didn?t stop! She responded with ?that?s how we do it around here?.At this point it?s so ridiculous I responded ?please stop, you?re about to turn it into soup!?. Now she?s angry putting the lidon and I ask ?Could you please add the homemade croutons in??. That was actually a selling point to me buying this salad, thisand the Mexican cheese. She slapped a piece of bread on top, and said that?s what comes with it. She ringing me up being angryslamming things around, it was very uncomfortable. I wished now I would have just walked out of the store. Not to mention thefloors were dirty, tables, the drink station. I took my salad home, had 2 bites and tossed it in the trash. What a waste ofmoney. Next time I will try the Vestavia Hills store; maybe they are cleaner and won?t beat up the salad, but not the Summitlocation. Great concept but a few disappointments. First I will say that the food tasted great and all of the ingredient were fresh. The... menu contains a wide variety of salad choices that all sound amazing. Now for the disappointments. For our first salad choicethey were out of 2 ingredients, carrots and onions. The second salad choice they were out of the dressing. The third choicethey were out of avocados. I do understand the supply chain issues but maybe run to Publix? Also, the water cups are about 21/2 inches tall. Yes they are free but if I had to choose between ice or water in my cup I don?t mind paying a little extra fora bigger cup. The biggest disappointment was the difficulty eating a salad with a tiny flimsy plastic fork. Overall, the foodand service was good but you can do better Chopt. Read more
I never leave reviews, but I have given so many chances over and over to this location. The employees are so incredibly rude. I... try to smile and they look like they would rather be anywhere else in the world, and continuously roll their eyes. Now, I coulddeal with this no problem if they weren?t ALWAYS out of something. This week, I?ve tried twice, and they literally do not haveany chicken for the bowls. Absolutely nothing. I have never been in this location where they aren?t out of some essentialingredient to make a warm bowl. Loved my Harvest Bowl but left out the kale and added Romaine and extra chicken. Couldn't eat the whole bowl, of course, but was... so good. Only down side is it's not really wheelchair accessible, or at least not with mine. Good thing I had the bestie withme. Will totally be back though because I can't resist a good salad. Read more
I placed an online order for pickup on their opening day. I was surprised at how smoothly everything was operating for only... having opened their doors 1.5 hrs prior to my arrival. The decor is light and refreshing. The prep line is set up almost in acafeteria style, and online order pickups in a separate area with a large tv screen to let you know when your order was beingmade, and when it was ready. I got there a few minutes before they said it would be ready, and was happy when it popped up onthe screen at the exact time they told me. Food was delicious and nice sized portion. Salad really SLAPPED!! it was full of flavor and really good. I got the chicken salad and im definitely going back ???? ????
