Chuy's is always awesome even if they have gotten a bit pricey. Nothing like those fresh made tortillas! Can't go wrong with the... creamy jalapeno dip either! Service has almost always been excellent despite how busy they usually are. Outside seating and vieware also great. Read more
We love this place! After moving away from TX I was very excited to find a Chuy's near my brother's home! We eat here everytime... I come to town. I love their chuychanga (chicken chimichanga, so good)! I don't like rice and beans and they sub it for a saladthat is always perfect, very fresh, and their jalapeño ranch sauce as a dressing... yum! It's the perfect, yet odd, complimentto their thin warm chips ???? The patio seating is fabulous and has an amazing view. Part of their outside seating is coveredwith fans and part is open air with umbrellas - all of the outside seating is dog friendly. They bring your pup a bowl of icewater and lots of attention. Steak burrito smothered in hatch chili gravy and chicken fajitas with all the trimmings. OMG! I can honestly say that I have... never had such tasty Mexican food in the coolest atmosphere ever! Everything was extremely fresh. The pico, guac, serranopeppers, everything!! Amazing flavors like I?ve never experienced in any Mexican restaurant. Our waitress, Kelly, waswonderful! She said that everything is made from scratch every day. They don?t even have a freezer in their kitchen. Oh and thechips. Best ever. Thin, light and super crispy! Even the sour cream was different. Chuys is always a solid bet!! I'm from Texas so to find one in Birmingham was awesome. The food and the service is top notch.... The chips and Jalapeño ranch is off the hook.i had the steak burrito which in my opinion is the best thing on the menu. Ihighly recommend!!!! Oh and don't forget the margs!!!! Read more

We came on a busy night so we ended up sitting at the bar. Food was okay. Service was fine. That?s why I am giving an extra... star. Bathroom was disgusting. Blood on stall door and floor.
