I should have known when i walked in and being the only person in the place. I ordered a value meal to take out. Warning that... it only comes with one BBQ sauce and charged me if I wanted white sauce. Then i asked if plastic forks, spoons and knives werein the bag and she said no, we charge extra for that. WHAT?? I shook my head and left. The turkey, beans and potato salad werejust meh. I should have just gone down the road a few more minutes to Jim and Nicks. ???????. Never again. Read more

The fries are phenomenal. My brisket and ribs were horrendous. Even after I got back home and put all of the meat in the oven to... fully cook for another 40 mins or so, still was terrible. It'll be fries only for me the next time I visit B'ham from Florida. Read more

Came in about 11:15. By the time we left at 12:30 the place was slammed. Quick and fresh. The burgers do take about 15 mins... but well worth the wait. My trip to Birmingham was completed today by my visit to Full Moon. I always get the Kikincheeseburger. Best burger in the state!! Read more

For a place whose Sweet Tea is THE BEST in Birmingham, their food is terrible. Over the last 2 years this, once great, barbecue... place has continually gone down hill. My last review of them was 4 months ago over a pathetic attempt at a baked potato. Sotoday I found myself in Inverness and decided to give them one last shot. I wish I had gone to McDonalds. I had remembered howterrible their barbecue and potatoes are so I went out on a limb and ordered a 1/2 pound burger?..if you could call it that witha straight face. Here?s a tip, Full Moon: Quit serving frozen discs of ?meat? and hand patty some FRESH ground chuck. Get rid ofthis horrible and CHEAP FROZEN steak ?fries? and hand cut actual potatoes. The bun was so stale it just crumbled in my hands. Ihad to go back and ask for the bacon that was supposed to be on my ?burger? and what was there was no mayo, enough mustard for 3people, wilted lettuce and raw red onions. Today was my last visit to any Full Moon. Read more

Food was excellent one of my favorite BBQ places, prices are good, service is good and they act they know you which is good. ... No p[problem going back, when we went back they had a group of kids from a Home School Group taking food to customers a dcleaning tables for tips, excellent idea. A great way to give back and a way for a business to offset staffing issues Read more

Had the opportunity to visit this highly recommended establishment finally. The staff team and management are so friendly and... polite. The restaurant is kept clean, sanitized, and well organized. The menu is easy to read and choose a great selection fromtheir diverse menu of southern cooking. The food arrives with great presentation from their skilled chefs at just the righttemperatures. I recommend their freshly brewed iced tea to keep you hydrated. The beef brisket has amazingly great flavor evenwithout the sauces added. They have a good selection of BBQ sauces to add though if you do decide to kick the flavor up a fewnotches. Thank you Full Moon BBQ for keeping it real and's not disappointing the hype! :) Read more
