So today, 10-23-22, my husband wanted some really good BBQ... All the places we've been to lately have been ultimately... disappointing, be it dry meat or poor service... So we decided to go to Jim N Nicks, about 1 hour from us... Let me tell you, Iam so glad we went there... I had the best salad I have ever had... It was called Pig In The Garden... Eric got a 3 meat platewith fries and mac n cheese... Everything cooked perfectly... But the best part??? The service was PHENOMENAL... Our waitresswas an 18 year old young lady named Esther... Good food, good service, just don't think about the money. The brisket is good and on the tender side. The onion rings are a... little spicy but they are good. A full basket of rings is huge. The cheddar biscuits are incredible. Still good in 2022! Read more

If I rated Food, Service & Atmosphere 5 Stars why would I only give them 4 Stars overall? The only reason is Price. The Price... for the amount of food for the cost was higher than I believe should be for my family to go often. It has been several yearssince we last went there and my take on the matter is the same now as then. Thus the absence of patronage. But a credit totheir consistency in food and service quality!
