Best Prime Rib I've eaten in years. Slowly smoked over wood gave it this mouth watering flavor that was out of this world. Staff... are so friendly and caring in the packing of all items. We had lunch here today for the first time and it was fantastic. I have been several times to pick pick up lasagna or a... casserole to go, but have not been back since their expansion or for one of their sandwiches. Their service is alwaysexceptional and their food is fantastic. Such a hidden gym in Cahaba Heights! Highly recommend. Read more
I love the New York Butcher Shoppe but yesterday my husband spent $35 on a rack of ribs supposedly good through 1/18/2022. I... just opened to put on the grill. All around amazing! I've bought countless steaks, sides and sandwiches before. While I usually pick up pork shoulders for... smoking at the grocery store, I decided to pick one up from the New York Butcher Shoppe this time. It was amazing! Best one I'veever cooked. I smoked this one the same way I always have, but the quality here is so much better than what I usually get fromthe grocery store. Read more
Boy is this little shop a treat! I'm a bit sad that we didn't discover this while we actually lived a little bit closer to this... area. Ah well, we'll still return! The sandwiches are HUGE (as a sign on the front door indicates). It's no joke either. TheMrs and I split a sandwich (wasn't starving) and had a brew a piece. We sat outside because the weather was nice. What a greatlunch date! The meat on the sandwiches is very very moist and tasty! Bread is good, beer was tasty and you can't quite go wrongwith Zapp's Voodoo chips!! I actually haven't read the other reviews to come before me, so I'm not sure if this has beenmentioned but this place really reminds me of Mr. P's. That's a compliment if anybody from New York Butcher Shoppe readsthis. The service was great, friendly, genuine and personal! Great customer service can do wonders for a visit anywhere! Wedidn't take advantage of any fresh meats for purchase, but wouldn't be opposed to it at all if they are as fresh as the delimeats. There's no reason for this place to have any less than 5 stars.
