The food was good but not for the price. If I go here again I will get the pasta or something else because I was expecting more... authentic Italian pizza and it just wasn’t the same. The restaurant and the employees were very nice. It was really easy forme to call in. Read more

Nice up and coming restaurant that's trending in the right direction. The food was good. The service was good. The environment... was great, including the staff attention to sanitizing between customers. Read more

Upscale Italian restaurant, several vegetarian choices and surprisingly tasted very good. Ambiance is OK, but the food is... really good. White truffle garlic bread, grilled bread and olive oil were great. Zuca chips are nice and crispy, bit oily. Arancini was nice surprise, although could have enjoyed with more sauce or balsamic glaze or something. One of the best pizzaswe have ever tasted, both Margherita and Cacio E Pepe were very nice. Seasonal vegetable salad and Tiramasu are good. Parkingis available and reservations are recommended. Read more

With a pleasent atmosphere, North Italia provided well prepared food in the hands of a friendly server. From casual families to... prom goers, everyone appeared pleased with their experience. Yes to the short ribs and the white truffle garlic bread.Appetizer, salads, dinner, and a split dessert for 2 - no alcohol - about $ 80. Read more

My wife and i were looking for some place nice for our anniversary night out, this was recommend and we're glad we tried... it. Very, very nice, modern, upscale, atmosphere, but not over-the-top, or pretentious. Modern, but in a classic simplifiedway. Wait-staff was attentive but not intrusive oh and They actually take reservations! Very classy. I wore dark jeans and abutton down shirt and I wasn't under-dressed, a sport coat was about as dressed up as you might want to get. The kitchen isdevidided from the seating area by a floor to ceiling glass wall so depending upon your seating you can see the foodpreparation. They have a legitimate full service bar including table side wine service as well. The food, wow- everything wasfreshly made including the pasta! The appetizers all sounded amazing. We went with the white truffle cheesy garlic bread, it wasa seasonal special not normally offered. Our dinners were excellent, portions were on the small side but that left room fordesert. The Italian Donuts were excellent. Definitely recommend. Read more

We had a great time. I don't know the servers name. I wish I did. She was so nice. Some feedback: Have the servers introduce... themselves. My friend had an old fashioned and I had the pomegranate mule. We shared the calamari on a bed of arugula - nomarinate sauce needed (there's also an upcharge to the sauce, and she didn't mention it, so watch out for that) - we did tellher it was our first time! The calamari was absolutely delicious. He had the scallops and squash and TV hey melted in ourmouths. While I had the Chilean (farm raised) salmon, cooked medium. It was a little overcooked (not medium) but still goodnonetheless. We shared two desserts, tiramisu and sea salted caramel mousse. The ambiance was nice. Great music and the decor isinviting. Staff wore masks. Read more

This was our first time visiting North Italia and it was outstanding. Far exceeded my expectations. The food, service and... atmosphere were all on point! The decor is very modern and cute inside. There’s plenty of seating inside with a great mix oflarge booths and tables. They’re outdoor seating is huge! Tons of tables and overhead heaters so it can still be used duringthe Alabama winter like right now in January. Every dish we order was so delicious! We started with the garlic bread (a musttry) and bruschetta. The Caesar salad was definitely one of the best I’ve had lately with torn croutons that are fresh andcrispy. All the pasta and pizza dough is made fresh in house. I will say the Pizza was one of my favorite things weordered. Conveniently located at The Summit with plenty of parking. You can easily make a reservation using Ope Table! We willdefinitely be back soon. Read more

I had no idea this was a chain, and Cheesecake Factory is the corporate owner! I’m cutting this location a lot of slack... because every restaurant in Birmingham is seemingly short staffed. Bartender (also my waiter as I sat at bar) was superfriendly. Helped me select a good wine. Made a great after dinner latte. Checked on my food continually. I ordered thevodka rigatoni. It took about 30 minutes before the order was done. The portion size was about half of what I’ve gotten atother locations (but still plenty). Sausage in the dish was over cooked, BUT the pasta was cooked to perfection (just the rightamount of chewiness) and the sauce was spot on. I had the butter cake for dessert (incredible) but came out about 15 minutesafter my latte. Be ready for a great meal and service, but don’t go if you’re in a hurry. Read more
