Great dinner. Phenomenal appetizers, which we happened to enjoy more than the main course, which was alright. Terrific cocktails... - peachy glen might as well be the best cocktail I’ve ever had. Decent desert, though I expected more. What didn’t make it a5* experience is the slow service. We usually aren’t picky about that sort of thing, but we sat waiting for extended periodsof time multiple times during the evening, which started to feel frustrating. No fault of the waiter - it seemed like the staffwas overextended and covering more tables than they had capacity for. Something for owners to consider. Otherwise, the servicewas friendly and came with excellent recommendations. Read more

Perry's is probably the best steakhouse in the Birmingham area. The interior is very nice and looks upscale. If you are not... dining alone (at the bar like me) my advice is to make a reservation, also parties of 6+ have a 18% gratuity added on thebill. I dined a couple of of times here and ordered the NY steak, I also tried different sides and I recommend the mac andcheese, grilled asparagus, creamed spinach and the gratin potatoes. The steak was great, had a very good flavor. I don't eatpork but my co-workers raved about the pork chop. If I am back in the area, I will definitely return. Read more

My niece had a birthday dinner. Maxwell was our server, and he was great, very accommodating and patient with the ill-prepared... guests. The food was really good. The steak was cooked to perfection and filling. The potatoes are a must have. They're in suchdemand that they sold out during our meal when we were trying to get an order as a replacement for something else. The 3 cheesemac and cheese was bland to me. That's just because I'm used baked mac. Even the bread, butter, and water were refreshing! I hada Thyme Lemon Drop. My niece had one also with tequila sub. They were both tasty. Overall MY experience was very pleasant andI'd recommend and go back myself! Read more

In the past we have traveled to Birmingham just to dine at Perry's. This is a top notch steakhouse with menu items you won't... find at a Flemming's like bone marrow. As expected the service and cuisine were simply excellent! We had the seasonal white beanchili with pork chop bites, what a wonderful, well developed depth of flavor. Plenty of parking both valet and regular. We havenever had anything here that was not fantastic. Prices are on par with any serious steakhouse so that should not deter you. Anymeal here is worth the price. Read more

The food tasted fine, but I don't think each entree tasted good enough to be 50$ to 60$ each (with the exception of the Caesar... salad which cost 12$). The water cup that I had was a tad bit dirty, so I had to ask for a clean cup. The wait time was a littlelong even though the place had just opened up. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very good though. Read more

Well it's a high end steakhouse and it was not disappointing in any way. We made a reservation and shared that we were dressed... casually so the bar setting was fine. It was an NBA playoff game so the bar was packed. The table was comfy, the service wasfirst class, the food was on point and when our travels take us back to the area we'll see you soon. Read more

Phenomenal dinner. Cocktails from the bar were solid. The wine list was excellent. Appetizer order of tuna tartar was one of the... best I've ever had. Filet was cooked perfectly and sides were all big enough to share. Highly recommend. Read more

ORDER A SIDE! I saw this restaurant and knew this would be the perfect Valentine's date. My girlfriend and I were busy... throughout the week but Saturday night was date night. We booked reservations and headed there. We pulled in and were greetedwith free valet parking, so we knew this place was fancy. We met with the restaurant receptionist she told us they were delayedbut we would be seated shortly, which was completely understandable. Minutes later we were seated and had the best waiter. Hewasn't overbearing, always came when exactly when we needed him, and was a good conversation. He gave us recommendations on apork chop appetizer which was delicious. Recommendations on drinks were phenomenal. I was convinced that minus the ridiculousprice this is the perfect restaurant until I received my entre. The waiter recommended a steak and mentioned how a small sidewould be big enough for both my girlfriend and myself. While I thought "the side thing" was a bit random it was importantbecause not ordering an extra side means not getting any side. Not ordering a side means just a slab of meat on a plate. A slabof meat that was really "just okay", especially for the price. I didn't hate it, I just don't think I'll go back...it was notthe perfect Valentine's. Read more
