Very popular! Very fast service. Great food and friendly staff. BLT and grilled chicken salad were yummy. On a Sunday afernoon... it was packed. They did their best to keep the tables bused but with the crowd it was a challenge. Outdoor seating on the cutefront porch was better because it was super loud and crowded inside. You order at the counter and they bring your food out towhatever table you choose. The flow of the line was a bit awkward and no place to stand without hanging over people eating atthe tables. I think they did great for a super busy day when 80% of Birmingham closes up on Sundays. Parking reserved in backfor customers but it was full so street spots were backup. Not an issue. Stopped in for a business lunch. Immediately smelled savory rosemary while looking at the menu. Very inviting. Decided on the... Beet Fig and Goat Cheese sandwich (pictured). So lovely, with the bitter arugula balancing the sweet fig and savorycheese. Fried okra was a wonderful side. Friendly staff and clean dining room. Great spot for lunch in Homewood. Read more

The place has a homey vibe and the food has a very fresh and healthy taste. We had two appetizers, fried okra and sweet potato... fries. The fries were not great but I would recommend the okra. We were pleased with everything else that we ordered. Veryfriendly staff. Read more
Great tasting food at very reasonable prices in a very tasteful ambiance. What more can you ask for? Service is very friendly... and prompt as well. Their Mac and Cheese is one of the best in town. The friend Green tomato was amazing especially with thespecial sauce. Herb chicken was a bit dry but the sauce it came with more than made up for it. Read more
Eek, the waiter was fantastic. So sweet and attentive. Oof the food... smashed potatoes were great! Hamburger was way overdone... ( never asked" how do you want it) the fries were cooked more than once it seemed and still cold. The meatballs were mushy andnot tasty. Sorry Read more
