Delicious, I had the Chicken St Charles. I'm not a big bisquet fan but these had to be the best bisquets I have ever eaten. The... fried chicken breast was crispy and juicy inside the sauce was perfect, and the poached eggs were cooked exactly right. Istrongly recommend this dish. Awesome coffee too. So we'd been in the Birmingham area for a week and had been looking for brunch spots. After a couple of mistakes we realized you... better make a reservation or at least follow the steps to get your group wait listed at a minimum. That's what we did at RubySunshine. I walked in about 15min early while our group was parking. The host check is in, said they were just waiting for atable to be ready and we could grab a beverage at the outside bar while we waited. Out to the bar we headed, drinks were orderedand less than 10min later our table was ready. Our waitress was wonderful, had a great sense of humor and was on point. We beatthe Sunday church crowd, so we settled into our patio table and began ordering with the seasonal beignets (lemon andblueberry!!!) And the crowd continued to grow. We ordered, eggs w/a hot chicken add-on, biscuits and gravy, a healthy breakfasttype skillet and grilled fish over corn cakes. The only item that could have been a touch better was the corn cake that was justa little dryer/overly fried a minute or two. But regardless, make yourself a reservation and enjoy some wonderful service andtop notch food. Read more
Satisfied with my visit!! Breakfast sandwich was a bit dry and the potatoes extremely dry. Loved the french toast and the bacon... was excellent. Incredibly good coffee as well. Definitely go for one of their signature omelette if you are a first timevisitor. Our server was so kind. Might be a bit pricey for the quantity and quality of the food served. Read more
Was a ABSOLUTELY worth the 1&1/2 wait. It was so good I forgot to take the picture before we dug in lol. Amazing customer... service and atmosphere was positive and light. Family friendly . There wasn?t anything we got this morning that wasdisappointing. Will definitely be back here soon! Read more

First time visiting and I'm glad I chose this place. Our server Rachel was very sweet and knew the menu very well. She was... able.to.make suggestions based on what we like or things we were torn in between on the menu. She suggested a drink that wassuper delicious and definitely will be my go to drink from now on when I visit. The food was served fast, hot and delicious. Theshrimp and grits were better than I expected and had me wanting more even though I was full. The maple butter that came with thebiscuit was a favorite as well. The chicken sandwich was good , could've had a little more spice but still good. If you arelooking for a new place to chill out for brunch and have a few drinks and some good food, I would definitely recommend RubySunshine. Read more
This may be our favorite breakfast place of all time!! The food was fantastic!!! Our daughter couldn?t decide on which pancake... flavor so the waiter said she could order a-la-cart and she had 4 different flavors. They were each amazing!! The hollandaisesauce was perfect on the Benedict! Tyler was a fun and upbeat server and the whole experience was exactly what we had hopedfor! Can?t wait to go back!! Read more
