I had a breakfast business meeting at this Grille, thinking it might be a good restaurant since it's owned by The Townsend... Hotel. I ordered a vegetarian omelette and made sure to ask the waiter not to have any meat in it. I remembered this vividlybecause the waiter joked and asked me if I wanted hot spices on it. I said not this early in the morning. I also orderedpotatoes to go with the meal. I took on bite of the omelette and I noticed a strange pink ingredient coming out. I checked itand it was full of bacon inside. I called Mr. Waiter to tell him, and he blamed it on the cook. There were hardly any customersin the restaurant so it was not really busy for this kind of eatery to make this mistake and miss a simple instruction. Thewaiter apologized and brought me another omelette; it was vegetarian alright but with spinach, which I asked him to exclude. Thepotatoes and the omelette practically tasted nothing even with lots of salt, pepper, and ketchup. I certainly do not recommendthis restaurant. Read more
Top notch fresh food in a comfortable atmosphere. We sat outside for lunch; and had excellent service. They had several... salads, a few sandwiches, and a few entrees. I had a nice breakfast at the Rugby Grille. It’s a great environment and classy place overall. My server Syed was very nice. I... got the traditional breakfast. The scrambled eggs and sausages were perfect. They also had gluten-free toast upon request. Ihave to say the breakfast potatoes were underwhelming. Very bland and dry, not great flavor. I had to add a ton of butter andsalt and pepper and ketchup. I did order take out the steak and eggs for my sister and she said it was delicious, but samereaction on the potatoes. However, I did request that her potatoes were butter free, so maybe that changed the flavor (don’tthink so). I definitely think they should make a more spicy and flavorful option for them! Anyway, I really enjoyed the ambiencebut can’t give it 5-stars for that reason. Will come again! Read more

Completely disappointed, we dined there last night, we were the only table inside . The dinner took 3 hours and we only ordered... one appetizer to share, salads and our entrees. Five of us ordered the salmon which was inedible due to the excess of sodium inthe sides and sauce which it was laid in. All of the sides were inedible. The waygu beef sushi roll which 3 others ordered hadno taste and needed some kind of sauce. The salmon issue was brought to the attention of the manager yet no service recovery wasoffered. We had a table of 9 so tip was included and service was lacking once another table showed. The server never came backto check on us. His assistant was running around trying to get things for us but the server should have been the one to do so.We were celebrating a birthday ???? dinner. It has been years since I've dined there and NEVER AGAIN. COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED.It is a day later and I still have that high sodium taste in my mouth. Read more
