The gentleman that waited on us was fantastic and the food was delicious! I had the chicken tikka masala and the flavors were... spot on. My kids had the butter chicken and devoured their dishes, so good! Read more

Today, I got touched by India. I ordered the chicken tiki masala with 3-4 spice level and was not disappointed. The chicken and... rice paired perfectly with the flavorful garlic naan, satisfying my hunger. If I could give this place six stars I would. Read more

It pains me to write this as Touch of India used to be my favorite Indian restaurant in Michigan. I gave it 5 stars over and... over and recommended it to everyone I knew. The last time that I ordered, my normal items just did not taste right. I chalked itup to being an off day for the kitchen. Today I tried again and everything was basically inedible. I had to throw away almost$40 worth of food that normally would have lasted me for multiple meals. The Chicken Makhani used to be the absolute best, soflavorful, not bland like a normal "butter chicken". Today, all it tasted like was sweet butter. There was no spice, there wereno flavors, it tasted like eating saucy sweet lard. The garlic naan normally comes with a nice char, a little crispy. This onewas thick dough, no crisp, chewy, the garlic was not even browned on top. Was more comparable to a frozen dinner flatbreadpizza. The veggie samosas were also almost inedible. They used to be thin crispy shells stuffed with potatoes, peas, and spices.Today the shell was thick, chewy, doughy and they were stuffed with flavorless green beans, carrots, and peas, and corn. I hadto smother everything completely in the green chutney sauce, which in itself was way more bland than normal today, it usuallybrings the heat and has a ton of flavor. Even the rice is usually so flavorful, today, bland. I did call and ask if there was achange in ownership or recipes. the gentleman told me that there had been a change in ownership a few months ago but that therecipes shouldn't be much changed, even though there was only one of the same employees. He also stated the head chef had calledin sick today. Since the normal chef was sick today, I will give my old favorite place one last try to see if they still preparethe same amazing recipes I have loved for the past 10 years or if this new ownership tanked the place. Will update my reviewbased on my next experience. Read more
