The shrimp scampi I had was plentiful! The food portions are great sizes for what you pay. The white wine garlic sauce was... incredible and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. We went looking for this diner because it was featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. There didn't seem to be a lot of homes... or businesses too close to it, yet it was busy. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Food was good and portions were huge! Some dishes wehad were the Apple Pie French Toast and the Mile High Meatloaf. Staff was pleasant and very friendly. When we paid the check,we had a nice conversation with the host (he seated us, as well as, took the check). We had a two hour ride home, and we weretold to be safe and hoped we'd come back sometime. Food is always amazing, and quick! Biggest complaint is they moved away from the red skin potatoes for breakfast. Those were... some of the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had! Secondary complaint is the attitude of some of the servers. Some are amazing,but others barely have a personality. But, the ones that are great far outnumber the not so great ones. Even with that, we'rerepeat customers! The pictures are from 3 different visits - first visit was after seeing the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Divesepisode. We now try to get back every few weeks to see what's new on the menu (spoiler: today's visit added a Birthday CakeFrench Toast! ????). If you've never been, check it out! Read more

Diner is a staple in the area, been here many time over the years. I stopped in for lunch, but chose breakfast items. I got an... egg and cheese omelet, and added sauteed onions. It was really tasty. I also got a side of sausage links but I didnt care forthem as much. For my bread item I chose the everything bagel with butter, it was much better than the average diner bagel. We came around 1 pm so shortly after lunch hour. I was surprised to find such a gem of a dinner! They serve so many local... fruits, veggies and craft beer! Our food came out fast and my food was warm but not as hot as I'd like usually. I had theThanks-giving meal and it was really good. The fresh made cranberry sauce had hints of cinnamon which was a nice surprise. Theyhave their own bees outside of the restaurant and sell local NJ honey and wines to take home.. I will be back! I ordered an omelet but my son's brunch was the best. The fruit was fresh and the whipped cream tasted divine. My meatlovers... omelet was a little lacking in depth, and the homefries were not seasoned. It was a common experience amongst the 5 adult mealsordered.
