In all my years of passing this place I never stopped until last week. Nothing fancy but my hot dog and tots were yummy. Also... had soft serve ice cream. I had pumpkin and cheesecake swirl on a cone. Delicious albeit a little soft. Missed the summer'speach and black raspberry BUT they had some in pints so I brought it home. The inside leaves much to be desired. The booths are small and ours was a little dirty but since we're from out of town, we... didn't even know about the cute arrangement out back. Plenty of seating outside! Nevertheless, my fam ordered lunch. My chickensandwich was okay. The onion rings though? Perfect. Cheese fries had a lot of cheese but I can't be mad at that. But what thisplace is great for is the ICE CREAMMMMMM. Wow honestly delicious. I had half vanilla, half peach soft serve and my Dad got halfpeach, half blackberry soft serve. I was going to write this long review with time stamps and everything, but I?ll just leave it super short. Ordered food at 7pm.... Took 33 minutes to get drinks (not self serve). Took 47 minutes to get both meals. Total cost was $29 for a cheeseburger,hotdog, two fries, and two fountain sodas. Food gets a 2/10 for being frozen and bland. Service gets a 1/10 for beingnonexistent. Value gets a 0/10, as in anywhere you go will have better value and fresher food. Two people got refunds for howlong their food took, which is hilarious. I?m not mad at how long the food took. I?m disappointed that the entire staff knewhow long they were behind on orders, and continued to take orders and not mention the wait time. That is just sad. Save yourmoney and go across the street to the Diner. Or spend the same money and go to Five Guys or Shake Shack. Your meal willliterally cost the same as two fast food places that make their burgers fresh to order. Read more
Cheesesteak, Fries & Funnel Fries. Took the kids for the first time. My son ate the whole cheesesteak and my daughter liked the... fries. I got the Funnel Fries which we shared they were exactly what I wanted! I?ll be back for some ice cream & more FunnelFries! Read more
Ice Cream, water ice and milkshakes never miss at this place. ALWAYS get an order of the Garlic Parmesan fries whenever I go.... Burgers and hotdogs are great as well. One of the gems of NJ. Read more
If you like ice cream this is your place! They have food as well but I've never had any, I go just for the ice cream. They... only take cash no cards of any sort. Well worth it. They do get busy during the summer. Read more
We came for a simple dinner of a pulled pork sandwich and a burger. Both were delicious and very much in keeping with this gem... of a roadside eatery. We stayed for the music, which is apparently a regular thing on nice summer nights and of course the icecream. Wow dinner, dessert and a show on the patio. What a wonderful late summer evening. Neat little spot off 206. Cheesesteak was fair but there was no meat in it. A $13 cheesesteak made out of 90% bread. Fries were... good and crispy. I've heard great things about the ice cream but didn't try it. I won't dig them too hard for the cheesesteakbut get something else here Read more
