I shared the pork tamales with my wife. She shared her grilled mahi mahi tacos with me. The tacos had a nice spicy sauce with... large chunks of meat and the tamales had plenty of pork and fresh masa. She had a prickly pear cactus margarita while I enjoyeda spicy mango margarita. Fantastic to both drinks! We shared a cheesecake chimichanga dessert. My wife found it to be a bit onthe heavy side with the fried pastry, but I enjoyed the very light sweetness to it. The service was a bit slow, but since theplace was packed with diners, that's understandable. The wait staff were quite pleasant and genuine. Love this place and aresad that we don't live nearer. We stopped here on a road trip into Bishop. We were in need of some Mexican food! We waited quite a while for service and they... were not busy when we got there. It got busy as we ended our meal and the service cost them a star. The food was pretty good soI think we would give it another chance. Read more

This place has a full parking lot every time we drive by so we decided to stop and check it out. OMG! Our food was so good and... our waitress, Maria, was very attentive. We had the ground beef taco pizza and the chili relleno/chicken enchilada combo. Myhusband NEVER cleans his plate at a Mexican restaurant, today he did. We will be back! Read more
The restaurant has a warm inviting atmosphere. Great food at good prices! We will have enough for another whole meal.
It was busy but the service was fantastic and the nachos were so delicious. The salsa had the perfect amount if heat.
