We've been on a quest for the best steak in the Bismarck area. I wasn't expecting much out of a chain. Boy was I wrong. We... primarily do take out, but the times I've eaten there were very pleasant. It had a clean, quiet atmosphere and the prices arevery fair. I try to give the positive and negatives in my reviews. But, there really were no negatives here. The service was as poor as the food. I have dubbed this the perkins of steakhouses. Maybe it was a bad day for everyone. Our... waiter didn't care much for what we had to say and assured me my steak would be delicious... which is wasn't. Overcooked andover salted. And the parmesean "crust" that the waiter sold me on was awful. Literally melted cheese. Nothing crusted about it.My steamed broccoli was cold and tasteless. My macaroni definitely sat for awhile. My husband's salmon was seared burnt on thebottom and inedible. They were out of rice for the salmon but offered no sub or discount. The bread was hard and the butter wascold and hard to spread. Well.... We came here for dinner. We were seated quickly but righty behind the "greeter station" which wasn't great as the... greeter applied a perfume/fragrance a couple of times which was overpowering to us (trying to eat). The food WAS great....goodportions, and priced how you'd expect it to be. My partner loved the ribs her got and very very satisfied. I however did notknow that the steak I ordered would be crusted in crushed peppercorns (I'm allergic). I ate my salad and some of the bread thatcame to the table and my baked potato. I had to bring my steak home to wash it. Our server was very busy; as if she had checkedback with us (after we'd started our meal) I'd have asked for a bowl of warm water (to wash the pepper off the steak). It's ashame... Read more
The food, drinks, and service was great ????????. My wife and I enjoyed a very nice steak dinner. NY strip, sweet potato, macn... cheese, salad n bread plus roasted asparagus! All tasted delicious. Plus a few cold ???? and ice water. Including generoustip, tab was still under $100 so it was very nice but still affordable. Read more

Updating my review as it's been over a year since I last was at longhorn in Bismarck. My experience was okay. Service was slow,... yet there were plenty of staff standing around. We got the same thing we got last time we were here which was the sevenpeppered steak. The greens were really bitter, and the meat was not cooked to what I said to cook it at. It also took forever tocome out. Probably will not be going back for another year, was not impressed. Read more
I want it stated first that we were there on a Friday night which might be the reason it's not getting five stars. As you can... see from the picture, the salad looked like it was slopped together in three seconds but it tasted fine. The steak was excellentand the baked yam was a divine sugar bomb. I was also shocked when the server took our credit card away to run it through. We'refrom Canada and we never let our credit/debit cards out of sight and this was unnerving. Waitress was super slow for their only being eight people in the whole restaurant. There was more staff than guests and she... still stood around and just gossiped with her coworkers. I ended up having to get up to ask for are drinks after we sat therefor 45 minutes. Our food was delicious absolutely no complaints when it came to the food. We sat there for another 45 minutesjust waiting for a ticket and once that didn't come I got up and asked her for it she still didn't come to pick it up so itwould be paid so I took the ticket up and paid for it with a different waitress. I try to be very open-minded when it comes towait staff due to me working in it for over 10 years however there was absolutely no exceptions for her. Just pure laziness Read more
