Went for Thanksgiving dinner, and ordered the prime rib dinner. I asked a waitress before hand is the prime rib dinner good, ... filling, and a lot of food because I was hungry,..AND ITS THANKSGIVING,,and she assured me that it was..(LIES!!)..It came with aside salad that clearly was made before hand because the lettuce was pressed down, and flat to the plate from saran wrap andbeing stacked with other salads, and day before "freshly" made.., the lettuce is cut into shreds and ready for the tacobar????with transparent cucumber slices and tiny cherry tomatoes. Then I got my prime rib dinner...oh boy.. I ordered mashedpotatoes and green beans for my sides, and it comes with a roll..so.. the green beans are from a frozen bag..they gave a tinyamount that had ZERO seasoning ZERO flavor ZERO effort into preparing them..the mashed potatoes are scooped with a ice creamscoop onto the plate and the brown gravy covers it and you can't see the potatoes.. again small amount of potatoes????,,..theroll is from a bag and heated in a microwave with everything else they serve. The prime rib was ok..but not very big. I wasstill hungry after the baby portions they served me. The restaurant is dim lit and FULL OF OLD PEOPLE ????????????..omg Ithought I was in a haunted retirement home. I think they cater to the elderly SO MUCH that they forgot they are a restaurant..because the way the food is, looks, tastes, says a lot. Nothing they serve is from a chef..it's all frozen and heated up. Theyneed to step it up because the disappointment I felt was overwhelming and the food was underwhelming. I almost feel like theydon't bring in enough revenue to serve fresh CHEF MADE food and are barely getting by..so they probably have some dude wearing abandana working in the kitchen that smells like cigarettes wiping his nose with his apron making the food???? cause that's thetype food they serve..don't get the fish fry...it was frozen also ????..oh but the elderly love it saying they don't Read more

Great service. Great atmosphere. Great vibes. LeeAnn the hostess/ waitress was outstanding. The prime rib practically melted in... my mouth. You owe it to yourself and your appetite to go there. It was a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience from start tofinish. Shout out to the chef for a perfectly seasoned steak. Even shout out to David the cashier who had me cracking up...BonAppetit! The food was delicious! Street tacos and Philly cheese steak. But what I really want to brag on is our waiter. I didn't catch... his name but he went above and beyond the call of duty! We had enough points on our cards to get 15.00 off for each of us. Theydidn't show up. I went down stairs to the ladies at the gilpin casino. They were absolutely no help whatsoever. They told mevouchers should have been printed yesterday. But I wasn't told that originally. I even checked this morning. You think thevery same woman could have told me then. So I went upstairs, told our waiter we'd have to pay. Wasn't at all happy! We playedhard and spent way more than 15.00 to get the vouchers. BUT our waiter came back. He had talked to his manager who gave us thevouchers!! Such a sweet surprise! What a nice young man!! And his manager! Thank you! Thank you! Signs are posted all over "you must be 21" so I would call about having children dine with you. Service was excellent. Food was... served hot and fresh. Had a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, fish and chips and a quesadilla appetizer. Every item was served hotand very tasty. Dining room was clean and orderly. Easy in and out service. Food prices were very reasonable. The dessertschoices were the best. Literally the best desserts in Blackhawk. I will go back to dine. Read more

I ordered a steak to dine in and wanted to order a different side meal to go. Not only am i not allowed to-go order, customers... ?not allowed to order more than one entree.? That?s Absurd! Even if I only ordered one meal and wanted to take the rest home,it?s not allowed. You?d have to roll it up in s napkin and sneak it out. They literally hate money. -5 stars. Oil needs changed... ordered French dip and extra crispy tots. Got stale chewy tots, stale bun and crispy beef. Aus jus did... not have much flavor. Chicken Alfredo was ok...lots of chicken the chicken was good. Biscuits and gravy were pretty good. Staffwas friendly. Read more
