Our entire experience was fabulous. Our waitress, Lisa, was so friendly and professional. She explained dishes and details about... drinks. Loved the lobster bisque. My husband had the swordfish and he said it was cooked to perfection - he’s very picky abouthis fish. Highly recommend. Read more
I got the 6oz filet & shrimp scampi. It was excellent. Ordered the steak medium rare. You could cut it with a butter knife. My... only disappointment was my appetizer. I had the Maryland Crab Cake. That’s correct, “cake” as in singular. You would thinkfor $26 you would at least get two. Also wasn't thrilled that is was served in a tiny cast iron skillet. You could taste a hintof metal in every bite. I’ll definitely go back. But next time I’ll skip the crab cake and go for the Tempura Shrimp withchili sauce. The staff and food were amazing!!! Brad our server was an absolute delight and the food was divine! Lots of choices on both menu... options and wine menu. Dawn, one of the directors stopped by our table, and added even more to an already incredible experience.We have been to every steak house in Blackhawk now and this just became my absolute favorite! So after searching for a decent steakhouse in Blackhawk, this was the only one that wasn't too busy and we were able to be... seated. The Old Fashioned that I ordered was absolutely horrible! Train your bartenders better....good lord. Now for the good,the filet I ordered was AMAZING! It was cooked to perfection and so juicy and tender, I loved it! I also got a side of mashedpotatoes and those were great as well. My other 2 buddies really enjoyed their meals as well. Long story short, food wasexcellent, the bar needs major training, but overall, don't pass this place up due to the reviews. Read more
We had prime rib which was great!! We both had salads, also great! We ordered a side of Brussels and gross!! They were complete... mush! We asked for asparagus instead and it also was complete mush. They need to learn how to prepare veggies properly.Otherwise the food was good, atmosphere is nice and we had great service. Read more
Took my husband to eat here for his birthday. He ordered a medium well steak and got a medium instead. We didn’t want to... complain so we tried to deal with it…..until he bit into the steak. It tasted like the chef put a whole carton of salt in it.We tasted the mashed potatoes, same thing. I ordered the filet medallions and fries. My fries were rock hard and my steak wassalty! I sent over half of my meal back. We didn’t want to complain, so we said we’ll just pay for the meal even though weweren’t satisfied. The waiter asked how we liked our food….that was obviously barely touched. We told him it was way toosalty and we couldn’t enjoy it. He said,” Oh oops. I’ll tell the chef to watch that for next time. I’ll bring yourticket.” When he came back with our ticket, I asked for a manager. When she came over, I explained that we never complain butwith a $100 bill, I felt it was necessary. I explained to her that I sent my food back and that my husband was going to take hisfood home and try to add something to it to help with all the salt. Long story short, she said let me see what I can do. Theytook 10 bucks off our meal, the mashed potatoes and that was basically it. My husband ended up throwing the steak in the trash.The salt was worse the next day. Mistakes happen and this could have been handled better. No real apology or effort to fix theirmistake. We paid the bill and still tipped our waiter, but I would never come back again. So disappointed!! Read more

Stacey our server was absolutely fantastic! I speak from personally being a server for many years. She is spot on, professional,... kind, attentive, and knows her stuff. The manager on the other hand was unprofessional and initially incredibly rude. Our bigpotatoes were not cooked the prime rib was cold, our food was served one little piece at a time and the Each of us got our foodseparately the main course, then a baked potato, then it was not served as a meal it has gone incredibly downhill since the lasttime we were here. Incredibly disappointing. Keep our server she is the only reason we would come back. Read more
