Best pizza in Black Mountain! Delicious gourmet and traditional style pizza. Fabulous selection of local beer and cider. Indoor... and outdoor dining are available. Very kid friendly and great service! There usually is a wait since this place is so popular. Wait as it?s truly work it! We had 3 pizzas for our large group. What a fantastic pizza place in Black Mountain! Definitely put it on your itinerary to check out if you?re in the area. Really... expansive menu for a pizza joint. Went on a Friday night and despite being busy, service was friendly and food was relativelyquick and very hot. Not to mention delicious. Get the supreme! It has all the veggies PLUS MEAT. EDIT: came back a second time today while on the way home from a long road trip. Sadly, it was not at all like the first... experience. Today the crust was raw and I mentioned it twice to our waitress and it didn?t get fixed. The first slice I thoughtmaybe it was the sauce, but then realized I was eating raw dough. I?m pretty bummed that the experience was bad after tellingpeople about this place. Would have been so much better if our pizza was taken back and cooked all the way. Prior: Best pizzain Black Mountain! Yum! We loved it so much we ordered a second round. Love the thin crust. I?m not usually a regular sauce kindof gal, but wow theirs is pretty darn good! The outside seating was closed but because I had the dog, they allowed me to sit out there. It was a perfect atmosphere and... perfect weather. Food was average, as was the service. Nothing special but I do recommend trying it at least once. Read more
This restaurant is so awesome. The menu is pretty expansive for a pizza joint and the pasta is very good here. The pricing is... fair and the service is so welcoming. Wait times can be a little long sometimes, but it?s very worth it. The staff works so hardand it?s very evident. The food is delicious and despite any curveballs thrown their way, this place really puts out some topnotch products. Service might be a little slower because they may be low on staff so be patient! These are just personal experiences. Your experiences might be different. The place: nice place, right on the main road, easy... parking The pizza: lots of toppings, that was unexpected! Almost felt like too much toppings, we actually had large chunks ofpeppers that we took off because they were gigantic. The crust was nice and not oily, that was good ! The pizza came not veryhot. That could have been an issue with service I don't know. The cheese to toppings ratio was too low. The pizza really didneed more cheese. I think that may have contributed to the temperature issue, that in general oily cheese holds more heat. Inmy experience The problem was the pizza sauce didn't really have a taste. It was just not exciting. The cost: way too much forthe very small pizza. I could have eaten the entire large pizza if it had a good taste. At some point I just stopped eatingbecause the bland taste was absolutely not worth the calories. Read more
Pizza was the best I?ve had in probably the last 10 years and I?ve been all over Europe and some if the USA. Fresh ingredients... in EVERY bite and great thin crunchy crust with just the right amount of good quality cheese. The staff was great and theatmosphere very nice. A good place for families or friends. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was for cleanliness. Idon?t mean the plates or the cutlery or even the tables. It was more the floors and the place just seemed like it was in need ofa deep clean. Read more
