I enjoyed our casual brunch for three here before hiking in the mountains. The food wasn?t particularly memorable, but it was... filling, warm, and did the job. I had a make-your-own-omelet with ham, goat cheese, tomato, and onion plus coffee and grits.Tasty food, good service, and great views from the outdoor patio with heat lamps. We visited Black Mountain yesterday without a lunch plan. I was very glad when the Acoustic Corner recommended The Open Oven. I... tried the FireBird Melt and it was excellent. Very accommodating to all my parties needs and requests and was so helpful andpolite!the ambience is what made us come here. We sat at rooftop seating and they turned the heaters on for us.
