Tucked away in the Village of Cheshire a cute residential/ shopping center Sake Sushi is a gem. The food, service and... atmosphere is better than I expected in the area. I had the tempura appetizer, tuna roll and tuna sashimi...they weredelicious. Fresh ingredients made to order. If you're looking for sushi/sashimi look no further. Read more

We went during lunch and I got a lunch box and my wife had a seafood soup. Good food in a nice restaurant. I don't remember ever... getting a lunch box like this before I was pleasantly surprised. Read more

This was my first time here. I’m giving one star because the server that seated us did not treated us well and the food tasted... horrible this is not a real Japanese restaurant. This place needs a really, really update on tables, and chairs with duck tapedon the cushions ??????????? and decorations plus the environment didn’t feel welcoming just a bad place with rude staff. I would call it average sushi. The miso soup is very good. The pieces seemed a bit large. Would be nice if they were cut smaller... so they weren’t such a large mouthful. My wife commented that there was way too much cream cheese in her role, and she did notlike the flavor of the spicy mayo. One thing I found odd was that I was given seven packets of soy sauce that I had to openindividually and poured into a bowl. Seems it would be more economical for them and much more convenient for the customer ifthey would simply put some soy in one of the to go cups like they do with the other sauces. Overall, not bad. No realcomplaints other than the small nitpicky stuff I mentioned. Read more

Had a few extra minutes for lunch and made our way over to Cheshire in Black Mountain to check out Sake Sushi. Had great seating... indoors and plenty of outdoor seating as well. The menu and selection was pretty decent and there was plenty of rolls to choosefrom. Especially liked their vegetarian rolls and spicy tuna. Group favorites include the udon noodles and chicken fried ricefor simple but delicious dishes and easy to share. Great sake btw. Cheers!!! Read more
