My review started at a five star. But the quality has unfortunately dropped a lot since they opened. We want to love this place... because it had amazing potential. But one order our $9 scones were still doughy. Next time meat was fatty on pulled pork andvirtually no sauce. Next order tri tip was super fatty and hardly any sauce. Pulled pork was crunchy and virtually no sauce andthey gave me the wrong side. The portion sizes have also shrunk a lot as well. If it wasn't so spendy I wouldn't be asconcerned. But that's a lot of money to drop, and not know if your meal is going to be good. Read more
I rarely give a bad review, I'm pretty easy to please but the food wasn't good. The service was good, the atmosphere good. But... the stake was overcooked, cold, and very very thin. The fries were undercooked and cold. My wife's chicken pot pie was gravy andveggies on a crumbly biscuit. She said her meal was very dry and cold. Waitress should really be writing things down.. After taking almost 30 minutes to brings us our food she brought me what I... didn't even order. While we thought our food was cooking she came back to our table 3 times to ask us what we ordered. This wasbefore even messing up the order to begin with. We are only passing through but guarantee when I comeback through I will goelsewhere. Horrible service Added this after Owners care free response- Food was sub-par at best- Maybe you should of closed topublic since your restaurant only caters to bigger parties and police officers. can read most my reviews I give 5 stars toplaces- so sounds like what the owner is saying is in his response is if you want good service /food you either need to be partof a big party or a police officer... I will also add HORRIBLE management- If you aren't ready to be open, maybe you shouldn'tbe open? you should have appeared after you were told of the problem sir- not sending one of your other waitresses that wasn'teven a manager asking if things were ok. So did you fix the problem? If fixing the problem is remaking the order- and waiting atotal of 40 minutes to get food- that's not fixing the problem- Horrible experience all the way around- and now you are going toblame the problem on your staff and just being open- You as the owner/manager should be making sure your employees are properlytrained and writing things down- for instance- instead of her coming back and asking our order over and over again she couldhave been writing it down and tending to other customers instead of running back and forth to the kitchen. The staff was disorganized waited for 30 minutes for a drink order then another 30 minutes for our food order then another 30... minutes for our food to show up. Was busy in there and everyone was getting upset about it. The food was good fries was cold andthe meat wasn't to hot. Might go back in few months to see if service is faster If they are still open. Best part of the meal was the bacon and coffee. Sent the rest of the food back. No sense to retry cooking it. Biscuits were... undercooked and doughy; hashbrowns were burnt, gray, and dripping with grease. Eggs for omelet looked like they had been rolledin black Ash or cooked on a burnt grille. Wait staff were unorganized as we had already ordered and waiting for our food whenanother waitress came and appologized for the wait and wanted to give us our total to pay before we even got our food. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious, tender and seasoned just right! Side of smoked vegetable kabobs were prepared... perfectly. Enjoyed every bite. Don?t pass by without stopping for a delicious meal. You won?t be let down if you like greatsmoked BBQ! Well done Frank and Julie! Read more
BBQ truck- steak sandwich was juicy and decent. Outlaw burger (monster style burger) was massive! Tritip was juicy and tasty.... Pulled pork as well. Had to have a skewer to hold it together and be eaten with a fork! Mac&cheese was good texture and flavor.Coleslaw was good sized shred/texture but flavor lacking. Would eat there again but still wondering if we will find a truefavorite BBQ in the regional area. Read more
