They serve excellent homemade food and the lunch specials are always good. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating.... There are only a few parking spaces out front but lots of room to park behind the building. Read more

Loved the meatloaf lunch special they had today! They literally served it within 10 minutes! Great home cooked food in a local... bar atmosphere. Pool tables and vintage Virginia licenses plates with catchy letters. My kinda place, and happy to have foundit. Read more
First: fried ravioli! Like mozzarella sticks, but better. My turkey special was "just like mom makes"; but that meant juicy but... bland turkey, mashed potatoes, what seemed like a box stuffing with some celery and onion added, and a thick but mild gravy.Twenty-five cents extra got me about a tablespoon of cranberry sauce that was right out of the can. Something I can see oldertownies or home-sick students craving, but not a 'special' to me. The roast beef sandwich, on the other hand, was delicious anda great bargain. The BBQ sauce for it is really spicy; I've heard good things about the horseradish as well. The macaroni andcheese was also tasty.
