Moe's has completely stopped getting our orders right. We've been eating at this particular Moe's for almost a decade, and it... used to be one of our favorite fast food places. For the past year, it's gotten so bad that we refuse to order online - they getthose orders wrong 100% of the time. But today we went in person to watch them make our food, and they still managed to putingredients in the food that I didn't order (because I can't eat them). Food smelled rancid and tasted like it was made days ago. Made my stomach hurt so bad afterwards. There were flies all over the... salsa bar. Needless to say I will not be returning. The health inspector needs to pay this place a visit. Read more
Ordered at the counter. Asked for double meat, didn't get it. Asked for the cheese on the meat (so it would melt) instead of on... top of other toppings, didn't get it. This would of been prevented if I was allowed to watch them make it like every otherMoe's. They were out of the two most common salsa flavors and out of sweet tea. Dark chicken had pieces that were dry and hardenough to chip teeth. My visit was during lunch time and wasn't busy. Thought I would give them another try. This time thesalsa was rancid. I was told I was wrong even though several people I was with agreed. I've enjoyed this salsa on every visitover the last 10 years or so. I know what it tastes like. But this time when trying it on a chip it caused a gag reflex, had afoul smell and a carbonated taste. It's rancid. I'm done with this location and will never return. Read more
My girlfriend an I love Moes, or at least we did. In our recent visit (yesterday) we found they had changed their ordering... method from a cafeteria line-up style to a point of sale with a list of ingredients. While doesnt seem like a big deal, there isa visual element to made-to-order foods that is appreciated. On top of this, they had what seemed to be all new staff on aFriday night that could barely use the POS. We were hoping to eat in as we put 30 minutes in the parking meter, by the time weactually received our order walked 2 minutes back to the car, it only 8 minutes left. 22 minutes to get through 5 people infront of us and our orders is insanely slow for this place. It's weird, this Moes visit made it feel like a shadow of it'sformer self. Read more
The burritos are pretty good. The meat isn't the best in the world but it isn't bad. The service was quick and the prices were... decent (especially if you go on Monday $6 burritos). The burrito comes with chips and there are 5 different salsas to choosefrom which is nice. I've had their queso before and it is tasty but it costs extra. Overall, pretty good. Read more
Just left the Virginia Tech location. It is a short walk from where I work. I arrived at 1240, on the door was a handwritten... note, ?cash or online orders only?. I pulled in the door, it was locked. I saw someone sitting at a booth, he looked up at mebut didn?t budge from his seat. I began my online order and stopped midway to call and confirm they were open. The gentlemanthat answered the phone said they were open, I told him the door was locked. He said ?let me check it?, he came back to thephone to tell me he had unlocked it. I completed my online order, and went back in to pick it up. While waiting for my order Isaw a Nintendo switch and a drink sitting at the same booth as earlier mentioned. Although it was handed to me immediately afterbeing wrapped, my burrito was cold. The bag of chips I received were burnt. When looking through the chip bag I was able to finda handful I could eat.
