I?ve included a picture of the menu. I like this place. Big but comfortable. Some whacky but mostly just tasteful decoration. ... Good stereo system but not too loud. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Overheard him helping a customer figure out an order toaccommodate his severe dietary restrictions. Everyone was very friendly. The entree were good. I really wanted to try the Schnitzel Oskar, which was already pricey but when... they told me it was going to be $6 more then the menu's price because they couldn't find a crab vendor ???? I got the Schnitzelwith mushrooms. My dinner friend got the salmon which she seemed to enjoy. My big disappointment was the Appetizers the scallopslooked like 1 scallop cut in pieces, put in a serving, dish add some kind of butter sauce, dump a pile of cheese on top, andthem shove into the oven. You couldn't even taste the scallops totally awful. The shrimp were just blan tasteless again those 5shrimp were not worth the money. The crab cakes were so so. The woody atmosphere is nice here- I enjoy how dimly lit and comfortable the seating in the back is, we started with crab cakes... and some melt in your mouth calamari ???? our steak and lobster was cooked immaculate. Service is prompt, and polite. 10/10 beengoing here for years. Read more

Well I dont think ill drive 40 miles to eat here again. The prices on these menu items have all changed an not for the better. ... The filet Oscar was good at 51.00 the Bavarian platter was way over priced for the quality of the products and was very dryand slightly luke warm . . The atmosphere in this restaurant was great and the staff we're very nice. Unfortunately I think the bartender was trying to... help out and having a bad night. She forgot my soup, then brought me the wrong entree. However, everything was delicious thecreamed spinach probably could have used a little more flavor. My husband's steak was average as was his old fashioned. I didask to have the desserts taken off since there are so many mistakes made which they accommodated. We were visiting town and wanted a nice dinner. I now consider Jack Niemann's Black Forest Steak House the be among the best I... have been to across the country. The service was perfect, attentive and ready to help. The food tasted great and was perfectlycooked. The scallops were delicious. The mushrooms had great flavor.
