No frills place to eat and have a cocktail or beer. The picture of the place with the bar in the background is of the better... looking half. The other half you don't see looked kind of dumpy. I had some kind of a chicken wrap with fries and my boy had aburger with potato chips. They were neither good or aweful. Maybe I will try it again some other day? Read more
This was the first visit for myself, my son, and his fiance. A spur of the moment/try a new place. I had the turkey bacon club... with the fresh veggies was pretty good; however some of the broccoli pieces looked a few days old. The lemonade was good, and Ieven bought some chicken wings to take home and eat another day. I like to compare wings at different places. I couldn't figureout why the container was so heavy, and why sauce was dripping out. When I got home, I realized it looked like they just pouredsauce all over the wings, which ended up on the veggies that come with it. And, there were only 4 wings, the rest was whattasted like cornish hen drumsticks,, I just don't know how drumsticks are substituted for wings, and the server didn't even sayanything. My son had the philly cheese steak, and he said it wasn't bad, a little dry however. He liked the sweet potato totsfor his side. His fiance had the chicken caeser wrap, and fries for the side, which she said were both good. She had a salad andliked that too. Overall, food pretty good, except the wings; which weren't wings, and service was good, she came by quite a fewtimes to see how we were doing. Best Pork Tenderloin sandwich that I have had in a long time. Very crisp and tender. Perfectly cooked. The sweet potato tater... tots were a delicious side. The staff was friendly and attentive. I will be back. Read more

Jake's is one of those places that you go to for a relaxing meal. I have gone here for work lunch, date night and had a meal... with my kids. Food is good not going to say it blew my socks off but you want something that is good and I doesn't break thebank Jake's is the place in Blair Read more
