Appalling food at exorbitant prices. When we moved to the area 3 years ago it was actually almost decent food. Everything has... gone so far downhill since then, especially the food quality. The only thing that's gone up is the prices. (For specificexample, the Pocono burger used to be $11, now it's $16.50. The recipe didn't change, the price of meat didn't go up THAT much,and they don't even use high quality ingredients for anything anyway) It's really no wonder they're having such a hard timekeeping employees. Even loyal customers are starting to avoid the place. Do yourself a favor and seek out a new pizza shop thatdoesn't burn their pies. Read more
Real slow prep, pizza wasn't good, wings were decent
If you're taking a road trip and happen to be cruising down 115, this is the place to stop to eat. It may be a bat but it feels... like a cozy restaurant. The bartender was super sweet and very friendly. I had my mother and my 5 year old son with me and shemade sure each of us was comfortable. She even set my son up on the pool table. My mom got the mushroom and Swiss burger withfries and I got a cheese steak with fries. The burger was the most delicious burger I have ever had. They make their own rolesso you can just imagine the freshness. Our food and service was so wonderful that my mother and I agree that a road trip to justgo there is definitely in the future. Been going there for years! In the last year or so it went down hill drastically and that is actually very disappointing!!! We... got 2 pies today (either of them had barley any topping! And when I say barley I meant it!!!! I ordered buffalo chicken and onewith bacon, I get that everything is expensive now but cutting one piece of bacon and sprinkling on a large pie I do not callthat a bacon pizza I call that plain!!! The same with the buffalo chicken!!! Absolutely mind blowing) the one star is for thecalzone because it was half descent?.. prices are Outrageous for what I got. $65 for two plain pies and small calzone!!! Had been going there for years. Their ???? pizza was decent, and other items as well. They're also much closer than any... similar restaurant. One day, during Happy Hour I was supposed to meet a friend for a frosty cold ???? beer. My friend wasrunning late. I ordered a Lager, then a second, then a third. The bartender was friendly enough. The Lager not particularlycold; glass was warm. When my friend finally ???? called to apologize for not being able to make it, I asked for my tab. I putit on a ???? credit card (I this bartender a $1.00 tip on each of the ???? beers. Not a huge tip outright, except whenconsidering the price (Happy Hour) was only $1.50. I paid ???? cash for the tips, which was 67% of the relatively smallprinciple. When I checked with my ???? bank several days later, this incompetent double charged my account. I should've fileda complaint with the BBB and the A.G's office. It was only a matter of $4.50. We ordered take-out there at least 2-3 times amonth. I called immediately, and was told only the owner could issue a refund. When I asked for the same, I was told he'd bethere after 4:00pm. I told her (my incompetent bartender, I'm sure) I'd stop by. I attempted to find said owner three times onmy way home ????; at least half a dozen times on the phone ????. All this from a regular customer, less than ten blocks away. That was ~ seven or eight years ago. WE HAVEN'T BEEN BACK SINCE !!! That $4.50 that they stole from me, has cost these slickoperators somewhere between $6,000.00 - $10,000.00 in business. Ordered the wings, and they were by FAR some of the best wings I've ever had. The hot sauce wasn't as hot as I would have... hoped, but they had great flavor to them. The atmosphere here is very relaxing, and exceeds the expectations of first glanceat the entrance tenfold! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing night out. They also have a spotfor live music, pool, etc... the bar area is a really aesthetically pleasing area. The service there was fantastic aswell! Nothing but good for this business! Read more
