The food was decent, the service not as good as always, the waitress forgot our appetizer which arrived after everything else... and instead of apologizing she acted like oh did you want the calamari? Guess what if I ask for them yeah I want them, next timetake notes . The wine didn't matching the price, but that happens often at restaurants in CT. Read more

WOW! Didn't even want my business. I called three weeks ahead to inquire about a reservation for a party of 12 on December 2 for... my father inlaw's 80th birthday. First response from the person on the phone was "You do know it is the holiday season" Whatdoes that even mean? Didn't even ask about our needs or the occasion. Didn't care! Next words out of his mouth where "We holdthe reservation with a credit card, automatic 20% gratuity ( I can see why with this service otherwise they would get nothing)and if you cancel we charge your card" Charge my card what I asked. "We just charge it". I had the nerve to ask about bringingin our own cake. "There is $3 per person plating fee plus 20% gratuity" There is that 20% again. How about giving me an amazingexperience to celebrate a milestone and maybe you will get more" I don't care how good the food is here, stay clear! Read more

We dined for my aunt birthday tonight. This place is secluded but, worth the find. We started off in the bar and had cocktails... before heading to our table. Since we were celebrating my aunts birthday I had flowers and a cake dropped off before ourreservations. When we were sat we had Kim as our server and when my husband and I first dined there we had Kim and she is anamazing server so we were delighted to have her. We ordered: Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, Calamari and Mussels forappetizers. Entrees: Simple Salmon, Spinach, Polenta Lobster stuffed Cod and Gulf Shrimp with Broccoli Rabe and RoastedPotatoes. The course were time perfectly, everything was delicious and cooked to the preferred temperature ( Salmon). The prices are really cost effective and I think they should be more for the portions and taste of them. The ambiance, the food,Palomas, The Rum Runners and Kim made our birthday dinner one to remember. Everything was so good I didn't take a picture ofthe food because I was stuffing my face. Read more

I got a surprise call from family who had dropped off one of my niblings for their start at college in Boston and who were on... their way to drop off their twin in NY. We wanted outdoors and a place that was nice but where they could keep an eye on theirloaded car. Making a reservation was very easy and staff were attentive and accommodating! Everyone loved their meals…chicken/penne a la vodka, rigatoni bolognese and I had the scallops risotto. Sweet scallops, creamy but not mushy arboriorice… all wonderful. Read more

Overall the food was good. My beef marsala was very good as was the rigatoni. Pork chop was top notch and probably the best... plate of the night. Service was friendly and casually attentive and I mean that in a good way. No pressure. The only nit was thecalamari was a bit overdone and therefore chewy. I would definitely eat at Carbone's Kitchen again. Read more

This was our first time here. We were sat in a very comfortable booth in the bar/lounge area. Our server was friendly and... attentive. We had the shrimp casino to start. It was pretty good. For dinner we split the lobster stuffed cod. The dish wasobviously made to order and the spinach in the dish was so good. I loved the decor and venue. Really cool Italian place. Read more

Warm tasty bread. Good sized portions well prepared. The smaller menu allows focus on core favorites. Service was spot on.
