The two noodle dishes we ordered were tasty but the portions were so small, the smallest portion I've ever gotten at a... restaurant probably ever. We paid for full meals but left hungry. Management was apologetic, citing inflation. We felt cheated, and won't be back. Read more

I have been going to Boonsong for years. Their menu is eclectic and I have brought friends and family to this place. I like... their curry puffs, appetizers, entrees. Their pad Thai is delicious! Read more

I?m a huge lover of Thai food and this was a complete waste of money. Some dishes were inedible. We were really disappointed... given the positive reviews. Much better places not far. Read more

I?ve never left a review quite like this before, but this was an absolutely wild experience. The food merits a 4 star rating?... not the best thing I?ve ever had, but solid, consistent, and conveniently located? but averaged out with this recent zero starservice experience, the place as a whole only deserves 2. I?ve been getting takeout from them for awhile and though the service/ambiance never inspired me to want to dine in, it was never negatively noteworthy before this experience. I called at 1:30 pm toplace a to-go order, made a point to ask for a timeframe as to when it would be ready (as the man taking my order was trying torush me off the phone) and was told 20 minutes. At 1:41 (as I was driving there to pick up my order), he called backreprimanding me for not being there yet and announcing he was closing and reopening at 5 (their posted hours state they close at3 to reopen at 5). When I said I was on the way, he snapped at me to ?hurry up? because he had to pick someone up from thetrain, asked if I could pay cash, and then demanded I give him my card number over the phone when I said I wasn?t carrying cash. When I arrived moments later, he had left someone else to handle my order which was incorrect, and she made an excuse about thechef not being there to correct it because of a doctors appointment. Like I said, the food is good, but nothing is good enoughto contend with that level of gross unprofessionalism. Read more

My husband and I have been coming here for years. Love the Tom Kha soup with medium spice. We get a large to share, which gives... us two bowls each. Whatever spices they put in there are different from any other Thai place we have ever been to. Tried toreplicate it at home but can't. It's the best! We also love Nam Tok salad with beef, #28 in Entrees (Chicken with Cashew Nut),and Pad Thai. Their noodle bowls are good too and very filling. Honestly, we have never had a disappointing dish. We have been big fans of Thai cuisine for decades and have tried many restaurants in this genre in many cities. Boonsong Thai... stands out as one of the best. While many places rely on over-sweetening dishes to hook customers, Boonsong Thai reliesconfidently on a firm foundation of base flavors that are pungent and complex. From the soups to the shrimp and chicken dishesto the noodles to the salads, Boonsong teases out the rich flavors of core ingredients with expertly employed spices?curries, coconut, peppers, fruit?to create dishes that enchant. They also have proven to be completely reliable in preparing gluten-freeversions of their menu items. Throughout the pandemic, we have ordered pickup regularly from Boonsong, driving 25 minutes to getthere without a second thought. They never disappoint and the service is always gracious and appreciative. When the pandemic isover, we will happily return to dine in at this friendly little restaurant. Read more

This place is a good Thai food place we enjoy it and we love the flavors and selections and have enjoyed food. It is fresh and... hot. What keeps us from giving it five stars is the slightly higher prices for receiving rather small portions. this is prettypar with other ones, however some have grown to maybe add one or two more dollars and make bigger dishes and portions. The food is great. Portions are huge. Their spice level of medium was pretty spicy so you may wanna go mild if you can't handle... too much spice. Food is really tasty. Their curries are fabulous. Peanut sauce is good too. Read more
