I have been looking for a mexican place to eat on a regular basis, and I have found IT! The tacos here are amazing, tortillas... are fresh and the filings are seasoned just right! Definitely will come back, it's sad to see this place so empty for a Saturdaynight though. If you are looking for great Mexican food, you have to visit El Matador! You will not regret it. I had a milanesa chicken torta and it was good. My hubby had the Birria tacos and liked them too. Took some churros to go and... they were yummy as well. El Matador has really stepped up to the plate with their outdoor dining since COVID began. From the front it may look like they... are closed but they have an awesome outdoor seating area under a large lit tent on a patio in the rear of the restaurant. Theentrance to that patio area is to the side of the building but does have a large sign to let you know it’s there. As alwaysthe food and the service was excellent, and reasonably priced to boot. A definite thing to note is the restaurant is BYOB sobring a drink and enjoy the delicious food and outdoor seating. Read more

The presentation and portion sizes were nice however the food was below average to me. I got 3 ground beef tacos and a side of... beans and rice. There was too much garlic in the rice and the corn tortillas were soggy and flavorless. I did not enjoy my mealat all. Read more
